Sinanju Analysis

Critical Hit Melee Attacker

The Sinanju is a Raid mobile suit that you can acquire and achieve max Potential Level for free, along with its signature pilot, through Fragment Quests. It's a hybrid unit that deals mostly with beam damage and some projectile damage, and it has a high critical rate.

The Sinanju's EX skill hits the highest HP enemy unit for 502% ATK, while also increasing the unit's critical rate by 50% for 20 seconds. Unfortunately, the Sinanju suffers from a lack of EX gauge recovery or restoration skills, so it'll take a while for it to activate its EX skill.

Its regular skills include an 18% beam damage buff and an 18% projectile damage buff. The former strengthens its first 2 weapons while the latter improves its Third Weapon. It's worth noting that the Sinanju is a Raid unit with 2 weak ranged weapons and 1 melee weapon, so it approaches battle in a nonoptimal way wherein it'll strike from range, close in and hit for melee range, and then move back out to use its weaker weapons instead of staying in close range.

Best Buffs Locked Behind Transcendent Skills

The Sinanju's Transcendent Skills offer the mobile suit its only evasion buff worth 25%, a stacking beam damage buff on a critical hit that maxes out at 50%, and a permanent 50% critical rate buff. Its biggest beam damage buff is locked behind Transcendent Skills, and it gets to reach 100% critical rate when at max Transcendent Level.

Potential Unleashed also improves the mobile suit's EX skill, particularly its ATK potency and the critical rate. Luckily, it's easy to do this even without using Diamonds given that this is a unit you can grind for via Fragment Quests.

Do note, however, that the Sinanju isn't really a strong mobile suit. It's weak without Transcending it, and a fully-built Sinanju still couldn't compete with the top DPS mobile suits in the game. Its lack of damage and durability, coupled with its bad weapon rotations and slow EX gauge make this unit not worth your Rainbow Haro coins for Transcendence. It's still best to get this MS to Potential Lv. 5, as this will contribute to your Rainbow Haro Farm, though you might want to avoid using this MS for PvP unless you don't have anything better.

For PvE, however, the Sinanju can do a decent job. If you need a Green-type MS to help you clear the main quest, the Sinanju's not bad in that regard.

Full Frontal gives this MS a stacking ranged sense buff for 64% each time an ally falls in battle, but that isn't too important since its ranged weapons aren't good anyway. It also grants up to 133% more melee sense, and most importantly, 20% more movement speed. The movement speed is the most important factor here as it'll help the Sinanju waste less time traveling to where it needs to be to use its weapons.
