Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. Engage's mobile suits can have higher HP, Attack Power, and Defense if you raise their Skill Rate Level. Read on to learn what Skill Rate is and how to raise it.

Skill Rate Level Up Guide
What is Skill Rate?
Skill Rate indicates how much you've been using your mobile suit, and it raises the unit's Combat Power (CP), HP, Attack (ATK), and Defense (DEF). Raise it all the way to Level 30, and you'll have a more capable MS in terms of both offense and defense.
Skill Rate Update
The new SR system introduced changes to the Skill Rate, specifically its level cap and a new icon animation. The Skill Rate's max level has been increased to 30. Now, units' border icons emit a glowing effect that circles the border with three color variations depending on the current Skill Rate level.
Fully upgraded units (level 30) display a red glow on their icon; green indicates units that are almost fully upgraded (level 20-29), while those still needing upgrades (level 10-19) emit a bluish glow. Meanwhile, units with a Skill Rate Level below 10 do not display any border animations.
How to Raise Your Mobile Suit's Skill Rate
| 1 |  Select the mobile suit you want to raise the Skill Rate of. |

| 2 |  Select "Upgrade." |
| 3 |  Pick "Skill Rate Up." |
| 4 |  Either allocate how many Skill Rate Data Discs you want or tap "Auto-Select" to give your mobile suit the maximum number of Skill Rate Data discs it needs. Remember that the upgrade will also cost a certain amount of Coins as well. |
| 5 |  You will be shown the changes to the mobile suit's Combat Power, HP, ATK, and DEF. Tap "Upgrade" to confirm your choice. |
Where to Get Skill Rate Leveling Materials
The Friend Points Shop
One of the ways to get Skill Rate Data I discs is by buying them at the Friend Points Shop. However, we only recommend doing this if you need just a bit more materials to level up your Mobile Suit's skill rate.
Send Mobile Suits to Research Missions
Rarer Skill Rate Data discs can also be obtained through the Mobile Suit Research menu. Here, you send out 6-squad units and bring back leveling materials after a certain period of time. However, you must buy the necessary Research Request Form Sets in the Coin Shop before sending a team on a research mission.
Other Ways to Get Skill Rate EXP
Get Skill Rate EXP By Clearing Quests
Just by clearing Quests, your Mobile Suits will also earn Skill Rate EXP at the end of the battle. Take note, however, that any Quests that do not cost AP to play and clear will not give your mobile suits any Skill Rate EXP.
