Durable Bombardment With High Damage

The Gedlav is a Yellow Bombardment mobile suit that gets supercharged for as long as it stays above 90% of its HP pool, similar to how the ZZ Gundam works. At 90% HP or higher, it receives a 96% ranged damage increase and 99% movement speed, but in exchange, it can't really use its EX skill since the EX Gauge recovery will go down by 99%. Luckily, one more buff it gets while above 90% HP is a 99% damage reduction. This makes the mobile suit extremely tanky, able to take even the heaviest of attacks like the GP02A's EX skill and still stay above the 90% HP threshold. Once it falls below 90%, all the other buffs we discussed so far will be removed and will be replaced by a 50% damage buff.

One more thing that makes this mobile suit very strong is how it has weapons that can hit from far away, similar to what Snipers and the Gundam GP04 have. It can hover from a long distance while raining down fire on enemies, and it can stay at a safe distance better than most thanks to its 99% movement speed buff.

When its HP falls below 90%, the Gedlav loses a big portion of its effectiveness. It's not the end though, as this is when it loses its EX gauge recovery self-debuff. When it gets to use its EX skill, it can restore 45% of its max HP, potentially bringing it back above the threshold and once again being a durable long-distance threat.

Stronger When Transcended

As with a lot of the other mobile suits, this one gets better at what it does when Transcended. At max Transcendence level, it gets 25% accuracy which makes it slightly better at hitting evasive targets, and gets 70% more projectile damage with its 2nd weapon, which is great since this is the one that can hit from far away and can hit for multiple times as well. Finally, at Transcendent Lv. 5, the Gedlav starts matches at 50% EX gauge, enabling it to be able to heal faster and increasing the likelihood of its health bar going back above the 90% threshold.

The extra damage for the 2nd weapon is quite sizable, and the EX gauge makes it more likely for it to come back to full strength for a second wind. If you have the Rainbow Haro coins for it, know that Transcending this mobile suit makes it a lot better.
