Worth The Hype

The Zeong has been hyped up by the player base since Gundam UCE's global version was released due to its supposed strength and effectiveness as the game's best Blue-type Bombardment MS. Now that we can finally see it in action, we can confidently say that it definitely lives up to the hype.

The Zeong is an extremely potent DPS threat because of its outstanding damage-oriented kit. It has a very powerful EX skill that hits all enemies for 435% of its ATK. If an enemy unit falls under the "Protagonist Unit" unit category tag, it'll take an additional 326% ATK damage, bringing the total up to 761% ATK as damage. Finally, this EX skill also increases the damage of Zeon Forces-Affiliated allies by 25% for 20 seconds, including itself. This EX skill can be fired off within the first few seconds of combat when fully Transcended, thanks to the 50% EX gauge granted when the battle begins.

Outside of its EX skill, it also deals big damage with its 3 mid-range weapons, 2 of which hit a good amount of times. These weapons are further enhanced by 3 beam damage buffs and 1 damage buff from the EX skill. It's worth noting that the Skill 1 beam damage buffs that each grant 58% are lost when its health bar dips below 100% and 80%, so keeping this MS healthy will be crucial to maximizing its damage output.

In regards to keeping this MS healthy, it loses 100% of its DEF when its HP drops to 40% or less, but it gets 60% evasion in return.

Must-Have Unit

Overall, the Zeong is an incredibly powerful DPS, whose only weaknesses are its lack of accuracy, and how its high hit-count weapons can be exploited by certain mobile suits, like The-O and the Titania. As long as you keep this MS protected, it can singlehandedly win you fights at max Potential and Transcendent Level. It's highly recommended that you spend all your Diamonds on both Super Limited Assembly Banners given that the Zeong outclasses the vast majority of mobile suits in the game.

Much Stronger When Transcended and Potential Unleashed

Because of how strong its EX skill is, and how it also increases its own and allied Zeon Forces MSs damage by 25%, you'll want the Zeong to be able to fire it off as soon as possible, granting the buff early into the battle and potentially taking out or at least seriously damaging Protagonist Units. Luckily, this MS' Transcendent Lv. 5 skill charges half of this MS's EX gauge at the start of the battle, enabling it to fire off within the first few seconds of a fight. Other Transcendent buffs include a 36% beam damage buff, and the unit's only accuracy buff of 25%, with both being very welcome buffs.

The Zeong's EX skill is a key part of its kit, so having it at maximum Potential Lv. will give you the best version of the EX skill. Now is the best time to splurge all your Diamonds and get as many Zeong copies as you can. With 6 copies, you can Transcend this MS for free and save a couple thousand Rainbow Haro coins in the process, as long as you do so while the dedicated banner is still active.

Char Aznable is by far the best pilot for Zeong, and is essential in maximizing the Zeong's power. He grants stacking range sense of up to a massive 300%, which the Zeong can stack very quickly thanks to its high hit-count weapons. Char also somewhat addresses one of the Zeong's weaknesses, which is its low accuracy, by granting it 24%.

The next best pilot for the Zeong is Roux Louka, though she won't nearly be as effective in it as Char.
