G-3 Gundam Analysis

G-3 Gundam Skills
EX Skill • Deal 805% ATK damage to nearby enemies.
• The G-3 Gundam inflicts self-damage equal to 15% of its maximum HP.
Transcendent Skill • When the G-3 Gundam uses its EX Skill, deal an additional 537% ATK damage to the target.
• The G-3 Gundam's ranged damage is increased by 70% when its HP is at 85% or below.
• At the start of battle, the G-3 Gundam's EX Skill gauge is filled by 50%.
Skill 1 • The G-3 Gundam's projectile damage is increased by 24% when its HP is at 70% or below.
Skill 2 • Unlock ［Strong Attack］Hyper Bazooka x2.
• The G-3 Gundam's projectile damage is increased by 18% when its HP is at 85% or below.
• The G-3 Gundam's projectile damage is increased by 22% when its HP is at 70% or below.

Low Damage DPS

The G-3 Gundam is a mobile suit not worth using due to a lack of meaningful damage buffs that limit its damage potential.

Its EX skill hits the nearest enemies for 805% ATK, but at the cost of damaging itself for 15% of its max HP. The damage is not worth the HP tradeoff, and it doesn't hit that hard in the first place.

Puts Itself At Risk

The G-3 Gundam benefits from all its buffs when its HP falls below 70% HP. However, these buffs aren't substantial enough to keep up with today's best DPS units. Its lack of a damage cap means that its weapons and EX skill will cap at only 100,000 damage, no matter how much you invest in it.

Moreover, its lack of any defense whatsoever makes its overall game plan of sacrificing HP and getting buffed at low HP quite counterintuitive. When its HP falls below 70%, it will likely not last for much longer.

Overall, the G-3 Gundam is a mobile suit you should avoid, as it is a low damage mobile suit with a non-existent defense that puts itself at risk of getting eliminated early.

Despite these, Amuro's presence does not really do much to make the G-3 a usable mobile suit.
