Winning at the Arena |

Back then, when starting out at the Arena, you were forced to face enemies that have 1 to 2 million CP, even if you only had 700 to 800 CP or less.
However, this is no longer an issue thanks to the August 5 update that allowed players to select one of three opponents to battle. If you wish to rack up some Arena wins, secure them by picking a fight with the weakest team you can face. Only the top-most option affects your rank though while the other two options won't affect your rank at all, win or lose. That said, you could climb the ranks more effectively if you only partake in Rank Change Battles that you know you'll be able to beat.
Note that sometimes, all three options are of the same power level. In those cases, check out their team and pick the one your team counters. Inversely, avoid teams you know you'll struggle with. If you struggle against evasion units, then don't fight opponents whose team's defense relies on evasion.
Each time you win or lose a fight in the Arena, you will get Arena Medals that will let you buy items from the Shop such as Blueprints, Main Weapon and Third Weapon Chips, and Coins. You will also see blueprints for mobile suits you might already have in your possession, so this could be a good way to source them whenever you want to unleash a certain mobile suit's potential.
Eventually, you will want to start amassing more and more UR rarity mobile suits and their corresponding pilots to be able to adapt to the teams that players use further up in the rankings. While you can wait until you've amassed enough free Diamonds to pull for powerful mobile suits, you could buy Diamonds as well to hasten the process instead.
The most important resources you'll need in the early to mid-game are Diamonds (to pull for new mobile suits and pilots with and replenish AP), Haro Coins (to Transcend units with), Chips (to enhance mobile suits), Modules (to give mobile suits certain stat bonuses), and Blueprints/Pieces (to unleash a mobile suit or pilot's potential).
All of these will be in limited supply, especially Haro Coins and Blueprints. So you need to prioritize knowing which mobile suits you'll want to put them toward that will help you rise through the ranks in Arena or at least maintain it to keep the flow of good rewards coming.
Modules are items that you can equip on mobile suits to give them a small boost to their power by buffing certain stats. Each mobile suit can equip a maximum of 2 modules at a time, and these modules can be earned from Cooperative Quests. To maximize your chances of winning at the Arena, you want to make sure that you're using the right modules.
Currently, the meta for Arena involves using 2 HP modules, specifically SR Augmentation Frame A. These modules' base skill boosts a unit's max HP by 16%, and two will raise your mobile suit's health by approximately one-third of their max HP. The reason behind this is that the popular and strongest units of Arena today are units that have powerful EX skills that can wipe out multiple units in just one attack. HP modules will help your units survive the EX skills thrown their way, allowing them to power through and keep the fight going.
You shouldn't just blindly put Augmentation Frames on all your units though. Modules have Special Abilities (or "Substats") that further improve other aspects of a mobile suit's kit. These abilities could boost evasion, damage, accuracy, and more. So, it's highly recommended to use augmentation frames that have special abilities that improve the strengths of your chosen mobile suit.
