Xi Gundam Analysis

Hyper-Accurate Armored Unit

The Xi Gundam is more like a bruiser than a full-on tank. It's primarily known for its high hit-count weapons amped with a big projectile damage buff and its anti-evasion capabilities, all while being fairly hard to kill.

Its EX skill deals 1385% of its ATK to a single enemy unit while buffing its own projectile damage by 60% for 20 seconds, as well as granting itself the Bullseye status effect for 8 seconds. This EX skill can be fired off early into the match given that its Skill 1 restores 64% of its EX gauge right when battle begins. Similar skills often have this locked behind Transcendent Lv. 5, so the Xi can benefit from its own buffs a few seconds after the battle begins, even at Transcendent Lv. 0.

The Xi Gundam becomes even better when fully Transcended, as it gets 50% DEF, 36% more beam damage, and 75% accuracy for 8 seconds after using its EX skill. This 75% accuracy may seem useless at first glance because it has bullseye for the same duration, but that accuracy buff will come in handy against mobile suits with Absolute Evasion. Absolute Evasion and Bullseye cancel each other out, and in those scenarios, it'll be back to accuracy vs evasion to determine whether attacks will land or be evaded.

Lastly, the Xi Gundam has some defensive skills, being able to restore 317 HP on taking damage and getting stacking resistances on taking damage, maxing out at 25%.

Overall, the Xi Gundam is a powerful anti-evasion mobile suit with good damage potential for an Armored unit. It's also quite tanky, but it won't last very long, hence why it's better played as a bruiser rather than as your primary defensive tank.

Transcending Improves Defense and Versatility

Transcending this unit grants it a big boost to its survivability thanks to its 50% DEF buff. The 75% accuracy boost will help with encounters against Absolute Evade units, and the 36% beam damage buff improves its Beam Rifle.

Potential Unleashed also increases the damage, buff potency, and bullseye duration of its EX skill, so try your best to get copies of the Xi for maximum Potential Lv.

Hathaway Noa's C0172 version gives the Xi Gundam higher Ranged Sense and a Guard Rate buff with his first skill, giving the unit a chance to block damage and receive just 1HP's worth instead of the full amount, while giving it a ranged damage boost.

His second skill meanwhile increases the mobile suit's ranged damage further, though it also grants reaction, which gives it higher chances of evading or guarding against enemy attacks. Hathaway also makes it deadlier to evasion units given his stacking accuracy buffs.
