Full Armor ZZ Gundam Analysis

Guard Tank Impervious To EX Skill Damage

The Full Armor ZZ Gundam (FAZZ) is an Armored mobile suit best known for its ability to shrug off EX Skills like it's nothing.

It’s equipped with an EX skill that deals 1385% ATK to a targeted enemy unit while also increasing the damage of all Blue-type mobile suits on its team by 26%. This makes it great to pair with the Zeong, Arena’s strongest DPS mobile suit, as well as other strong Blue types like the White Unicorn and the Full Armor Unicorn Gundam.

When fully transcended, this EX skill can also be cast early into the battle, thanks to its ability to start matches with its EX gauge already halfway filled. It’s also a spammable EX skill, as it recovers 3% of its EX gauge each time it takes damage.

Its Skill 1 allows the FAZZ to take 99% reduced EX skill damage, which means that it’ll shrug off even the strongest of EX skills, like the GP02A’s AoE blast. Similar to the Penelope, it also has a 55% guard rate buff, though that’ll get chipped away as the FAZZ also reduces its guard rate by 5% for each time it takes damage (maximum of 110% guard rate debuff). Skill 1 also inflicts Unavoidable on itself, preventing any chances of evading attacks.

Skill 2, on the other hand, includes the 3% EX gauge restoration buff that we mentioned above. While taking damage charges up the EX gauge, it also inflicts damage taken debuff on itself that increases the damage it takes by 5% for 10 seconds. At maximum stacks, this debuff lets it take 50% more damage from all sources, which isn’t very good.

Transcending Improves Durability, First EX Speed

Transcending this MS to level 5 improves max HP by 25%, beam damage by 36%, and the ability to start matches with its EX gauge halfway filled. The max HP buff helps the FAZZ’s durability, while the 50% EX gauge restoration buff allows it to use its EX skill early on, dealing damage and buffing Blue-type allies.

Potential Unleashed also helps this MS by increasing the EX Skill’s damage and buff potency, so try to get as many copies of the FAZZ as you can.

Overall, the FAZZ is a good mobile suit for Arena, as its EX damage resistance and guard rate allow it to become a durable tank. It can use its EX skill early into the match, and it synergizes well with Arena’s current strongest DPS mobile suit, the Zeong.
