Qubeley Analysis

Anti-Evasion Utility Unit

The Qubeley is an anti-evasion unit that provides excellent value with its EX Skill, which hits all enemies with a decent amount of damage, reduces their evasion by 27% for 20 seconds, and inflicts stun on enemies for 4 seconds.

The Qubeley can fire its EX Skill rather quickly thanks to its fast attacks, with the EX gauge filling completely after only around 5 to 7 seconds from empty. This means that there will be a small opportunity to attack when the opponents' evasion stat suffers from the effects of the Qubeley's EX Skill twice or thrice. This small window gives the Qubeley's team enough time to take out or deal serious damage to those pesky evasive units.

Finally, the Qubeley's EX Skill synergizes extremely well with the Hamma-Hamma and the Hyaku Shiki, as these units are also powerful counters to evasion units. The EX Skills of these 3 units synergize perfectly and allow for the Hamma-Hamma to use its EX Skill to its maximum effect.

Because of how common evasion units are and how useful the Qubeley's AOE stun is, this mobile suit is good in most game modes, both PvP and PvE.

Well-Rounded Kit

While the Qubeley offers great value by putting opponents in a vulnerable state and opening them up to its team's attacks, it's also a pretty well-rounded unit with a decent offense and high evasion potential. Some of her abilities revolve around the Qubeley's third weapon, Funnels, which fires 3 hits and 10 times every time it uses it. This goes hand in hand with some of the MS' skills, like increased Third Weapon accuracy and beam damage, as well as gaining evasion stacks upon dealing damage. Finally, this weapon also synergizes well with its Skill 2 which grants an increase in EX gauge recovery by 33%. Because Qubeley's Funnels weapon fires multiple times, your EX gauge will fill up very quickly as well.

The Qubeley can reach up to 95% evasion even without a pilot, but it's very vulnerable when the match starts and it hasn't gotten its evasion stacks. Look to place the Qubeley where it can safely fire away and get its stacks, perhaps behind an Armored unit or evasive Raid unit.

Stronger When Transcended

The Qubeley is not very good when it isn't transcended. At base, its EX Skill will still stun enemies and decrease their evasion, but it won't have access to a lot of its other features that make it effective. For example, its Funnels weapon is only unlocked at Custom 4, and without its fast attacks, you won't be able to use your EX Skill as often as you would when unlocked. Another example is how this unit's evasion buffs only unlock after transcending multiple times and at Custom 2. If you plan on using this MS, make sure you invest in it to unlock its true power.
