Even though Cooperative Battles and Raid Battles are PvE modes in Gundam UCE, they have to be handled rather differently because instead of fighting against a team of MSs, these modes usually pit a player's mobile suit team versus a single mobile suit.
Maximizing damage output becomes the most crucial aspect of picking which mobile suit to put in a player's team. So we picked mobile suits that excel in this regard.
| Deals the most damage possible to a single enemy and/or allows their allies to do the same. If you are intent on doing Coop Battles and Raid Battles, these mobile suits are a must-have for every run. | |
| Useful in both Coop Battle and Raid Battle because of the damage they deal and their utility. They will certainly be welcome additions to a player's team. | |
| Still good to have in Coop Battle or Raid Battle teams as they offer good damage and utility, or can serve as alternatives to higher-tiered mobile suits. | |
| Useful like A-tiered mobile suits in Coop Battle and Raid Battle, but have niche roles compared to those MSs. | |
| Included in the tier list since they have niche uses in Coop Battle and Raid Battle, but offer little else outside of their role. |

|---|---|---|---|
[M0449] Unicorn Gundam (Hyper Mega Launcher)
• Top-tier DPS unit with a powerful single-target EX skill that it can loop and fire off frequently. • Great defense makes it vulnerable only to Blue-type units. Defensive buffs last for the first 90 seconds of battle. • One of the best DPS unit for most PvE content. |
[M0476] Zeta Gundam (IF Claw and IF Blaster)
• A tanky melee bruiser with no EX skills for the first 24 seconds of combat, but turns into a glass cannon EX looper afterwards. • It is quite average in terms of damage early on, but becomes a DPS machine later on in the battle. • Deals huge damage in a Cooperative Battle setting where fights last long. |
[M0473]Gundam GP02 (MLRS)
• A debuffer that increases the damage an enemy unit takes by a whopping 97%. • Renders enemy damage reduction buffs useless, unless said buffs have very high values over 100%. • Strong EX skill that bypasses DEF. • Has some defense thanks to increased max HP and a 99% EX damage reduction buff. |
[M0488] Nu Gundam (LFF and Hyper Mega Bazooka Launcher)
• Starts off strong with all its allies alive, and loses potency with each fallen ally. • Works well in today's coop meta of extremely durable mobile suits. • Comes with a massive HP pool and potent damage reduction buffs. |

|---|---|---|---|
[M0089] Char's Z'Gok
• Forces Gundam-Type opponents to take significantly more damage from the entire team. • Extremely useful, but only in Cooperative Battle stages against Gundam-Type enemies. |
[M0470] Narrative Gundam B2-Packs
• Has both Absolute Evade and Perfect Guard, as well as 99% EX damage reduction. • Powerful EX damage and fast EX gauge recovery make it great for Coop battles. |
[M0483] Gundam
• Has a powerful single-target EX skill, which enjoys potent PvE-exclusive EX damage buffs. • Benefits from Bullseye and Absolute Evade. • 2M damage cap and 4M 2nd Weapon damage cap. • Well-rounded kit. |
[M0471] Sinanju Stein (NT Version)
• An anti-Generic mobile suit that inflicts Provoke on MSs of this category. • Deals big EX damage against Generic units, and takes significantly less damage from them. • Excellent in Coop stages with Generic bosses. |
[M0485] Gottrlatan
• A Bombardment mobile suit with high crit-oriented damage output. Benefits from huge Skill DMG buffs in a PvE setting. • Landing crits deal an additional 168% ATK damage to its target, too. • Comes with 200% EX damage down for the first 30 seconds of combat, high evasion, and a 10,000 HP heal for each crit it lands. |
[M0487] Victory 2 Assault Buster Cannon Gundam
• Deals huge crit damage due to its ability to benefit from the Extracritical status. • Similar to the Generic Sinanju, but with better damage at the expense of not having Bullseye. • Decent tanking ability thanks to damage reduction buff and team-wide heals. |

|---|---|---|---|
[M0296] Magna Martell (Awaken)
• Benefits from a permanent Absolute Evade buff, hits hard, and is also a great single-target debuffer. It can fill multiple roles all at once, namely tank and debuffer. • Now outclassed by the Gundam GP02 MLRS, but is still the next best thing if that is not available. |
[M0386] Gundam F91 (Full Power)
• A dodge tank with permanent Absolute Evade and a 99% EX damage reduction buff, the F91 is very durable, and can anchor a Cooperative Battle team's defense. • Unfortunately, tanks have become a lot less necessary in today's Coop Battle meta. |
[M0427] Ple's Qubeley Mk-ll
• Ple's Qubeley is essentially Ez8 2.0 since it is a buffer that increases the team's critical rate and critical ATK. • Also debuffs the enemy team's ability to land crits. • Crits have become significantly less valuable given the rise of high damage EX skill users. which hurts the Qubeley's value. |
[M0459] Phenex (NT-D/NT Version)
• The Phenex is like the upgraded version of the Methuss as it gives Green-type units potent heals, buffs to damage cap and damage. It can also revive fallen Green-type allies. • Grants Sniper and Bombardment units Stealth for as long as it is alive, protecting them from any unwanted aggro. • Heals all allies and grants them Absolute Evade. |
[M0438] Gundam F91 (Twin VSBR-equipped)
• Deals strong AoE EX damage against the entire team. • Great defense thanks to being Stealthed for the entire match's duration, as well as a 99% EX damage reduction buff for any stray AoE EX skill that might hit it. • Heals and charges its EX gauge for 24% each time an ally falls in battle. |
[M0435] Zeong
• The Sniper Zeong is similar to a cross between Char's Z'Gok and Awakened Magna Martell. • Has an EX skill that deals huge damage against Protagonist Unit. • Inflicts a 48% damage taken debuff on a target for the entire battle. • Good for bosses that fall under the Protagonist Unit category. |
[M0454] ZZ Gundam (Hyper Giga Cannon)
• Reduces incoming damage by a very high amount. • Debuffs its own damage reduction with each attack it takes. At max debuff stacks, this MS will still be tough to take down. • Relatively lower ranking due to tanks being optional in Coop Battles. |

[M0356] Narrative Gundam B-Packs
• The B-Packs is a unit that increases the max damage cap, ranged damage, and combat effectiveness of Generic and Sniper mobile suits. • A great unit for when you have plenty of units that have fallen off in terms of damage when compared to the game’s SS-tier units. |
[M0408] Sinanju
• The Generic version of the Sinanju is a crit-based mobile suit with access to the Bullseye status effect, extremely high crit rate, and critical ATK, and a heal-on-crit mechanic. • Still a decent DPS threat when built properly, but is outclassed by today's much more powerful DPS units. |
[M0358] Geymalk
• The Geymalk is a mobile suit that increases its damage with each use of its EX. After a few stacks of its damage buff from its EX skill, it is able to consistently reach its damage cap. • Once the best mobile suit for Cooperative Battles, it has fallen off significantly due to the rise of much more powerful DPS units. |
[M0437] Rozen Zulu
• The Rozen Zulu is a very powerful Raid mobile suit with high damage output, crit rate, and defense. Its highlight features include the Bullseye status effect on EX, EX gauge restoration on crits, and an 800,000 damage cap increase to its Additional Weapon. • Viable in this game mode, but is outclassed by the newer generation of DPS units. |
[M0381] The-O
• Boasts a high guard rate paired with Perfect Guard, heals on guarding, and deals AoE damage with its spammable EX and Lethal EX skills. • Great for situations that call for a tank, but tanks are not necessary in most Cooperative Battles. |
[M0397] Methuss
• Heals all allies with its EX skill, grants the Regeneration status to all allies, which restores health every 6 seconds, and grants damage resistance buffs too. • Blue-type units get even bigger bonuses, and can be resurrected by the Methuss should they fall in battle. • Low rank due to healers being unnecessary in Cooperative Battles. |
[M0325] Quin Mantha
• A powerful bruiser with a massive HP pool and good resistance. Unfortunately, tanks are no longer necessary in Cooperative Battles. • Benefits from Assault, which is not needed in Cooperative Battles. • Great synergy with the Methuss. |
[M0460] Regelgu
• Crit-oriented melee unit with Assault, making it great against units with both Perfect Guard and guard rate. • Deals good amounts of crit damage in a coop setting. • Prone to getting eliminated early due to weak defense. |

| A Tier | B Tier | C Tier | |||||||||
| Mobile Suit | Tier Placement Reasoning / Best Pilot / Best Sub MS | ||
|---|---|---|---|
[M0238] Gundam Ez8
• The Ez8 improves the critical ATK and critical rate of all its allies, but especially more for Bombardment mobile suits. • What was once a staple has become an afterthought, with a better crit buffer being available, and with crit damage becoming generally less effective than EX skill damage. |
[M0300] Todesritter
• An anti-Newtype Machine unit that is much more effective at taking out enemy mobile suits that fall under this unit category. However, because of its high crit rate and good survivability • Viable only in Cooperative Battles that feature a Newtype Machine boss. |
[M0434] Unicorn Gundam Perfectibility (NT-D)
• Once the king of DPS units in all of UCE, this MS has fallen off significantly since then. Its damage output is no longer abnormally high, and is now outclassed by several other mobile suits. • Although it can be viable against Psycho-Frame Type enemies, the additional setup it requires to make it good is no longer worth the trouble. |
[M0377] Victory 2 Assault Gundam
• Benefits from Perfect Guard, a potent single-target heal, team-wide EX damage resistance buffs, and ramping evasion and beam damage buffs. • Its damage output has fallen off, and it is outclassed by the new generation of healers. Additionally, healers have become more of optional rather than necessary in today's Cooperative Battle meta. |
[M0458] Theta Plus
• A Sniper unit with a 1.2 million damage cap increase, access to the Assault status, and an EX skill that deals bonus damage to Blue-type and Support category mobile suits. • Since Assault is not needed in Cooperative Battles, the Theta Plus is essentially just a subpar DPS unit by today's standards. |
[M0382] Zeta Gundam
• The Waverider Zeta is a specialist unit whose main job is to inflict Unavoidable and Unguardable on enemies. • While it can deal some damage, its debuffs are quite useless in Cooperative Battles since the bosses here do not have Unavoidable or Perfect Guard. |
[M0431] Alex (Chobham Armor)
• An Armored unit with the ability to reflect 154% of the EX skill damage it takes back at the attacker, while having high beam and projectile damage resistance. Its EX skill also heals it for 45% of its max HP. • Unfortunately, coop bosses do not have strong EX skills, and tanks have become more of situational picks instead of necessary units. |
[M0363] Crossbone Gundam X2
• The first mobile suit with access to Stealth, the Crossbone Gundam will stay hidden for the first 18 seconds of combat thanks to dropping last on the enemy's target priority rankings. After that, it gets a permanent Absolute Evade buff and an increase in melee damage. • Its low damage makes it undesirable in Cooperative Battles. |
[M0383] Kshatriya Repaired
• This mobile suit is a very solid offensive support/DPS hybrid with the ability to inflict Unavoidable, buff its entire team's damage, and deal high amounts of crit damage even without the Ez8. • Terrible defensively. • Viable for Cooperative Battles, but outclassed by the better options of the higher tiers. |
[M0412] Nu Gundam HWS
• Another bruiser-type Armored unit, the Nu Gundam HWS shouldn't be your main tank as its defense is situationally good against Rival Units. Its strongest asset is its EX skill, which hits Rival Units with high damage. • Decent as a tank against Rival Units, but tanks have stopped being a necessity in Cooperative Battles. |
[M0426] Crossbone Gundam X3
• A melee-oriented MS that deals rather subpar damage, but is very tanky due to ridiculously high ranged damage reduction and 99% EX damage reduction. • Ranged damage reduction buff disappears after 90 seconds of combat. • Low damage and expiring defensive buffs make it quite bad at long coop battles. |
