Best Mobile Suits For Cooperative Battles

Yellow Sazabi

Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. Engage - Sazabi [THE LIFE-SIZED v Gundam STATUE] Icon[M0218] Sazabi [THE LIFE-SIZED v Gundam STATUE]

The Yellow Sazabi is an extremely powerful skirmisher with ramping beam damage buffs and 66% life steal. This unit grows stronger the longer the battle goes on, and since Cooperative Battles are some of the longest battles in the game, the Yellow Sazabi excels here. It will consistently dish out very high damage while healing itself for a big percentage of every attack, making it a nigh-unkillable force to be reckoned with once it gets going. The Yellow Sazabi will perform well in any type of Coop Battle, but especially in the Purple-type quest.

Zeta Gundam

Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. Engage - Zeta Gundam Icon[M0086] Zeta Gundam

Another unit capable of dealing ridiculously high DPS, the Zeta Gundam can top the damage charts of the Cooperative Battle thanks to its ability to rapidly spam its EX skill that bypasses defenses and how it gets extra beam damage on EX activation. The Zeta Gundam, just like in other game modes, will perform exceptionally well in Cooperative Battles, especially in the Purple quest.

Unicorn Gundam Perfectibility

Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. Engage - Unicorn Gundam Perfectibility Icon[M0251] Unicorn Gundam Perfectibility

Another mobile suit with very high DPS, the Unicorn Gundam Perfectibility can deal extremely high damage with its crits, high beam damage, and spammable EX skill that bypasses DEF. This mobile suit along with the ZZ Gundam are the undisputed kings of Blue Cooperative Quests.

ZZ Gundam

Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. Engage - ZZ Gundam Icon[M0041] ZZ Gundam

The ZZ Gundam is another powerhouse of a DPS unit. It is one of the 2 best Green-type mobile suits in the game and is capable of dealing around the same amount of damage as the Unicorn Gundam Perfectibility. These two mobile suits are the best DPS units for Blue Cooperative Quests by far.

Phenex (NT Version)

Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. Engage - Phenex (NT Version) Icon[M0166] Phenex (NT Version)

The Phenex earns a spot as one of the best Cooperative Battle units in the game not because it’ll lead your team in damage, but because it’s one of the best single-target debuffers in the game. This unit can increase both the projectile and beam damage a target receives by 60%, which will greatly enhance the entire team’s overall damage output. Because Cooperative Battles are against only one enemy unit, this debuff will be applied almost the entire time. Because of how valuable its debuff is, the Phenex should be a staple on most, if not all, of your Cooperative Battle teams.

Full Armor Unicorn Gundam

Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. Engage - Full Armor Unicorn Gundam Icon[M0107] Full Armor Unicorn Gundam

As the 2nd Unicorn Gundam to make it to the list, the Full Armor Unicorn Gundam won’t have as much DPS as the Unicorn Gundam Perfectibility or the Yellow Sazabi, but it’ll definitely still pack a very heavy punch while having the sustain and survivability of an Armored unit. Overall an excellent unit for Red Cooperative Quests.

S Gundam

Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. Engage - S Gundam Icon[M0239] S Gundam

The S Gundam is yet another very high damage unit that’s capable of dealing over 60,000 DPS in a Cooperative Raid, joining the likes of the Unicorn Perfectibility and the Yellow Sazabi as units that will often top the damage charts in this game mode. Exceptional in Red Cooperative Quests.

Char’s Z’Gok

Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. Engage - Char[M0089] Char's Z'Gok

Char’s Z’Gok is a support unit that increases the damage a target receives by 32% when it uses its EX skill. Furthermore, it also grants a permanent debuff on all Gundam-Type enemy units that makes them take 28% more damage for as long as the Z’Gok lives.

These debuffs are very powerful, and they are extremely good against 4 out of the 5 Cooperative Battle I Types and 2 out of the 3 Cooperative Battle II types. Among those, only Char’s Zaku II from the Red-type Cooperative Battle I and the Varguil (Gundam Head) from the Green-type Cooperative Battle II aren’t Gundam-Types, which means all the others take up to 60% more damage from the Z’Gok’s entire team.

Dag Doll

Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. Engage - Dag Doll Icon[M0340] Dag Doll

The Dag Doll is a powerful Yellow Generic unit that deals big damage to units inflicted with the Jamming status effect. This unit can inflict this on its own just by attacking, and can permanently apply this debuff on a Cooperative Raid opponent. Because of its kit, it is extremely potent as both a DPS threat and a defensive debuffer.

Sisquiede Titans Color

Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. Engage - Sisquiede Titans Color Icon[M0183] Sisquiede Titans Color

A debuffing Sniper unit, the Sisquiede Titans Color is known for being a great AOE debuffer that cuts down the beam damage all opponents deal by 30%. While its debuffs are surely nice to have, it earns a spot on this list because it also happens to be one of the highest-damage Purple-type units in the game. It won't deal nearly as much as the top Coop DPS units will, but it'll definitely be able to chunk down its HP with its long-range attacks.

Psycho Zaku

Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. Engage - Psycho Zaku Icon[M0129] Psycho Zaku

The Psycho Zaku is a very powerful Red Bombardment unit and is one of the best units for going about Green Coop Quests. It receives damage buffs each time an ally falls, greatly increasing its firepower, but even when all its allies are alive it's still quite powerful. It can reach around 40,000 DPS when all its allies are alive, and that number rises to around 56,000 with the buff from just one dead ally.

Sazabi

Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. Engage - Sazabi Icon[M0052] Sazabi

The Blue Sazabi is the third-best Blue-type unit for Red Cooperative Battles. It won't do as well as the S Gundam or the Full Armor Unicorn Gundam, but if those aren't available to you, this unit can do alright. It's another unit that needs to ramp up to be effective, and Cooperative Raids are perfect for just that. On top of that, it can also increase the damage of all Blue-type allies, and in a Red Cooperative battle, it's ideal to run a lot of Blue-types. For Cooperative Battles, it's an okay centerpiece but an excellent secondary DPS/buffer.

Gundam GP04

Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. Engage - Gundam GP04 Icon[M0123] Gundam GP04

The Gundam GP04 is another unit that will do well in the Green-type Cooperative Battles. Along with the Nu Gundam, the GP04 is the runner-up to the Psycho Zaku in terms of DPS to this type of Coop Raid. The GP04 behaves a lot like a Sniper unit, constantly bombarding foes accurately from far away with long-range weaponry.

Nu Gundam

Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. Engage - Nu Gundam Icon[M0039] Nu Gundam

The Nu Gundam is best known for its ability to heal its allies, which is valuable in Cooperative Raids since opponents here like to change targets before finishing off whatever it critically damaged. That said, the Nu Gundam can heal its allies before the boss can finish it off. However, a big factor of this unit's placement in this list is how it also deals huge amounts of damage, on par with the GP04.

What all these units above have in common is that they increase the damage output of allies who meet a certain condition. Some may offer damage buffs to the entire team, some to a specific type, and some to a specific category. These units are excellent support units who won't lead your team in damage, but will further improve your carries' DPS. Make sure you read up on their abilities first and don't blindly insert them into your team just because they're on this list.
