Modules in Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. Engage give great stat boosts to your mobile suits. Read on to learn where to get modules and how to use them properly.

The best way to get modules is to fight in Cooperative Quests. Depending on what Cooperative Quest you take on, you can win modules that enhance your Mobile Suit's Evasion, Accuracy, HP, and other stats. The player who deals the most damage to the enemy gets the most rewards, so adjust your team accordingly to maximize your damage output.
There are ways to guarantee that you earn extra modules with each Cooperative Battle. If you want to learn more about these tips and tricks, read our Cooperative Raid Guide with the link below.
Modules come in different rarities, types, and CP. Modules also come in different letters, which affects the condition of the bonus. For example, a Projectile Enhancement Program A will grant a small bonus right when the battle starts while a Projectile Enhancement Program B will grant a much bigger bonus, but it'll only take effect 30 seconds into a battle.
However, it does not stop there. Modules can also have "Special Abilities" which increases other stats. That said, an Augmentation Frame A of the same type, rarity, and CP does not guarantee that the two are the same. While their base effect would be the same, their Special Abilities are probably different. Look to equip modules that not only have useful base effects for your MS, but have a good amount of CP and Special Abilities that synergize well with your mobile suit's kit as well.
Because the Arena is currently dominated by units with powerful AOE EX skills that can instantly destroy their opponents, a lot of the top players in the world have been using double HP modules on all the units they use for PvP, not just the tanks. However, it's not as simple as that. Since modules have substats that boost other things like damage and evasion, you'll want to attach HP modules with these substats that are relevant to whatever your unit needs.
For example, if you use the S Gundam for Arena, you'll want to put double HP modules with substats like bonus damage, bonus beam damage, or enhanced critical strikes. You wouldn't want to put in HP modules with substats in resistances or projectile damage since the S Gundam doesn't need those.
If you have Recycle Points, certain modules are available for purchase at the Recycle Pt. shop. Some of them enhance Beam and Projectile damage, while others enhance overall damage.
1 | Select the mobile suit you want to give a module to, and open up their information screen. To the bottom right corner of your mobile suit's picture, you'll see empty boxes where your modules are supposed to go. |
---|---|
2 | Tap the module of your choice. You can fill both module slots if you have the second one unlocked. |
3 | The game will inform you of the changes. Tap Yes. |
4 | Your Module is now equipped. |
Modules are equipable items that enhance a given stat depending on the type of mobile suit they're equipped on. There are modules that specifically buff Beam Damage and Projectile Damage, Evasion, HP, and other stats. So make sure you're giving the right kind of modules to a mobile suit that can use them.
For example, if you have the S Gundam, then you would want to give it modules that increase its Beam Damage as well as its Accuracy. This is to further capitalize on its strong points, which are high accuracy and high critical damage. If you're using a Raid unit that has Evasion buffs, give it an Evasion-boosting module.
Each mobile suit only has two module slots, which means you'll have to choose what modules you'll be equipping very carefully. Make sure that the modules you'll put on give the right mix of stat boosts to your unit.
