Transcendent Skill • At the start of battle the Engage Gundam Booster's evasion is increased by 25%.
• At the start of battle the Engage Gundam Booster's beam damage is increased by 36%.
• Whenever the Engage Gundam Booster uses its EX Skill, the damage of all of its "Engage-Type" mobile suit allies is increased by 21%.
Skill 1 • At the start of battle, the Engage Gundam Booster's evasion is increased by 14%.
Skill 2 • Unlock ［Strong Attack］Beam Rifle.
• Whenever it evades an attack, the Engage Gundam Booster heals 1,061 of its HP.

Enhances the Damage Output of "Gundam-Type" Allies

The Engage Gundam Booster, just like plenty of the other Engage-type mobile suits, is a unit best known for its ability to buff up the damage of all Gundam-Type allies.

This is thanks to its EX skill, which deals 477% ATK to one targeted enemy unit, while increasing the damage of all Gundam-Type allies by 21% for 20 seconds. It cannot be casted early or too frequently as it lacks any EX gauge recovery or restoration buffs.

Its Skill 1 grants 14% evasion while its Skill 2 restores 1061 HP on successful evasions. Unfortunately, even when fully Transcended and paired with its signature pilot, this mobile suit cannot evade at a high level. Do not expect this mobile suit to heal on evade at the same level as something like The-O or the Titania.

One thing to take note of is that this mobile suit does not deal much damage. It lacks the damage buffs necessary to be strong, and its weapons aren't good either, as it's a Raid unit with 1 melee weapon and 2 subpar ranged weapons.

Not Worth Transcending

Fully Transcending this mobile suit grants it 25% evasion, 36% beam damage, and an extra EX skill effect that grants 21% more damage to all Engage-Type allies for 20 seconds.

Even with the 25% evasion from Transcendent Skills, it still can't evade at a high level, so it won't be able to restore HP as well as the evasion tanks mentioned above. Moreover, it's really not worth getting that Engage-Type buff since there aren't really any meta units that fall under this unit category. Some of them could be used for PvE or as niche PvP units, but none particularly stand out as powerful. Moreover, the best Engage-Type units are supports that don't really need to deal extra damage.

Overall, the Engage Gundam Booster isn't really a good mobile suit for PvE, and especially for PvP. It can be used by weak accounts in the early game for PvE though, especially when a player's team is filled with Gundam-Type units. It's also quite useful for new players when doing Cooperative Quests, though only when the borrowed mobile suit they'll use to carry their team is a Gundam-Type.

Peche Montagne's C0098 version gives the Engage Gundam Booster 95% ranged and melee sense, 77% more ranged and melee sense for the first half minute of the battle, and 20% evasion and accuracy for the same duration.

While the buffs that Peche grants are quite good, the same cannot be said for this MS, and it still won't be that good despite having Peche Montagne on board.
