How To Rank Up and Unlock All Content Quickly Checklist |

The easiest way to unlock as much of the game's content as quickly as possible is to start on an account with at least two strong mobile suits that can work in a variety of situations. The best mobile suits to reroll for, in this case, is S Gundam, Gundam Full Armor (Thunderbolt), or Hamma-Hamma.
S Gundam is a popular choice because of its high stable damage that relies almost entirely on its raw stats and modifiers. Gundam Full Armor (Thunderbolt), on the other hand, is a mighty tank that can put a lot of pressure on the field simply by existing. Not only is it difficult to kill using beam weapons (which most weapons are), but it also threatens attackers with its self-heals if they can't deal enough damage to it. Lastly, Hamma-Hamma is an incredibly versatile unit that boasts a map-wide EX Skill that not only deals a decent amount of damage but also stuns all enemies for several seconds.
Other decent pulls would include Gundam (if you're running a mostly Green team), Char's Zaku II, Zaku I with Big Gun (Thunderbolt), or Gato's Rick Dom (as long as you also pulled Anavel Gato with it).
UR Selector Ticket Guide - Who Should You Pick?
As mentioned earlier, S Gundam is an incredible offensive mobile suit. But it would be even stronger if it was paired with its signature (though not canonically) pilot, Roux Louka. Regardless of what mobile suit you pulled in your reroll sessions, you can easily complete the S Gundam and Roux Louka pair by using the free Guaranteed UR Mobile Suit Select Unit Assembly Ticket and Guaranteed UR Character Select Unit Assembly Ticket you can obtain from your starting gifts.
If you have pulled S Gundam from your rerolls, feel free to use the free ticket to get Gundam Full Armor (Thunderbolt) or Hamma-Hamma. But, just in case you got both S Gundam and Roux Louka in your rerolls, prioritize completing the Hamma-Hamma and Mashymre Cello pair next.
With your team of six mobile suits and their pilots, you can now try your luck and push through the main quest to earn upgrade materials, alteration materials, and most importantly, player experience. Ideally, you should try to clear each stage while accomplishing all of its missions.
These missions usually involve clearing the stage with a complete team of six mobile suits, not allowing a single one to be destroyed, and defeating all enemies within a time limit. Doing so will award you with Diamonds, the game's premium currency, for each mission you accomplish. While the rewards are small, they certainly add up as you progress through the main quest.
As you do so, you'll eventually encounter progressively more difficult stages. If you're the completionist type who refuses to progress unless you've earned every star, you might discover those aforementioned stages much earlier. Either way, you'll have to start upgrading your mobile suits and pilots in order to go on.
The best way to go about this is to focus most of your resources on S Gundam, Roux Louka, your other UR mobile suit, and its pilot. Meanwhile, you should only invest in your other mobile suits and pilots just enough so that they won't die while your two main mobile suits clear the stage.
How to Strengthen Your Mobile Suits Guide
Leveling up isn't the only way to upgrade your mobile suits and pilots. Once you encounter a stage that's simply too difficult to clear with just levels, then it might be time to make use of those features. The most accessible of these methods is a mobile suit's Alter feature, which raises their Custom levels up by stages using materials that can be farmed from the main quest stages.
Since your aim isn't actually to clear every stage of the main quest, but to get up to a player rank high enough to unlock all of the game's content, doing this will kill two birds with one stone. Not only will this allow you to farm materials to make your mobile suits even stronger, but it will also provide you with a steady supply of player experience, as well as enhancement materials that you can use to level up your team.
The only caveat is that this is very time-consuming and uses up large amounts of AP. Fortunately, AP can be purchased for relatively cheap in the coin shop, and skip tickets to breeze through the repetitive stage of farming can also be bought there.
Events in Gundam UC Engage usually have very desirable rewards tucked inside its list of freebies. These may sometimes include limited mobile suits or pilots that can potentially serve as major components of your team. Aside from that, the other rewards are always better to have than not. Since these events are held regularly, it's a great source of materials and resources outside of your regular grinding spots. So try your best to get as much of them as possible daily.
While some of these may be too difficult for your current player rank, some of these are extremely beneficial for beginners. A good example of an event you don't want to miss out on is the Combat Power Augmentation Operation Event . This event not only rewards you with precious upgrade materials, but also gives your team a sizeable EXP boost with every match..
Player Rank 40 unlocks most of the game's content and features, so new players should prioritize working towards getting there. Once you settle into a comfortable loop of pushing through main quest stages and stopping to grind for alteration materials, you'll soon be able to maintain a steady stream of player EXP to keep your rank consistently moving toward the goal.
But, just in case you get stuck again despite your efforts, what else can you do?
Sometimes, your team itself might be the reason why you're not progressing. Perhaps you equipped a pilot with an incompatible mobile suit? Maybe your team has too many Bombardment units and not enough Armored units to counter enemy Raid units. Maybe you accidentally placed Michel Kano on a mobile suit with a Protagonist unit category? Feel free to try different lineups while paying close attention to the pilot's skills and the mobile suit's properties.
How To Pair Pilots and Mobile Suits
Considering that you've been spending all this time upgrading your mobile suits and pilots, you'll eventually run out of major resources such as enhancement materials and, most importantly, coins. While repeatedly clearing stages does provide you with these resources, you can also rely on the game's Daily Material Quests. Every stage provides more enhancement materials and coins than several runs on a main quest stage combined.
You can make your mobile suits and pilots stronger through unit enhancement, but you'll need duplicates which you only can get by either pulling from the game's gacha banners or by collecting blueprints or character pieces from the Shop or the game's Fragment Quests. The Fragment Quests are stages where you can farm mobile suits and pilot pieces in exchange for AP. However, just like the Daily Material Quests, you can only participate in Fragment Quests a couple of times each day.
If you're truly desperate for new mobile suits or pilots for your team, or even for Unit Enhancement pieces, then you can pull more from the game's gacha banners. However, considering that the majority of the game's event banners feature limited UR mobile suits and pilots, avoid pulling from the game's standard banners and always go for the limited or event banners. That way, even if you only pull one copy of the featured mobile suit or pilot, you'll still have expanded your options for team building.
Phantom Ace is a fun gauntlet unlocked at the end of the game where you can earn a lot of Diamonds by simply having a team last through several waves of enemies. It also resets weekly at 0:00 JST on Mondays, so you can farm it consistently! It's a great source of Diamonds to fuel your gacha pulls.
This is ultimately what it comes down to - the Player vs Player experience. Arena is the mode where all of your collective knowledge of the game coalesces. In order to earn its rewards, you'll have to prepare your best teams and fight others.
