Uso Ewin Review

Uso Ewin is a very powerful pilot in the sense that he grants two stacking 15% ranged sense buff on dealing damage that maxes out at 150% each to Red type and Generic category mobile suits. This essentially makes him the best substitute pilot for most ranged damage-oriented Red-type Generic category mobile suits. In some cases, especially among the earlier-released units that fall under this specific type and category, Uso may even be better than the signature pilot in question.

His other skills include two 46% ranged sense buffs to Protagonist Unit and Zanscare War mobile suits, a ramping 12% accuracy buff every 5 seconds (max 60% at 25 seconds) for 1 minute, and a stacking 8% reaction buff on taking damage (max 40% or 5 stacks). While these are nice bonuses, they won't be the main buffs to target if you intend to use Uso as a substitute pilot.

Overall, Uso is very nice to have on board the Gundam GP04, the Awakened Magna Martell if you don't have Celine, and other Generic Red-types like the Nu Gundam. He's exceptional in his signature MS, though we'll talk about that more in the section below.

The V2A Gundam benefits from all the buffs Uso brings to the table, greatly increasing its damage output while granting it reaction as well. Additionally, it covers the V2A's weakness of not having much accuracy at only 25%. With Uso's ramping accuracy buff, the duo can benefit from a maximum of 85% ranged sense from the 25th second of the battle all the way until the end of the first minute.
