What Kind of Character Are They? | ・Weapon skill inflicts Spd/Res penalties onto foe, grants a guaranteed follow-up attack and large damage reduction on AoE Specials and foe's first attack, and restores 10 HP to unit after combat. ・Exclusive C skill grants Def/Res+4 and a conditional Miracle effect to nearby allies. ・Duo skill neutralizes penalties and heals 20 HP to unit and nearby allies. |
Might: 14 Range: 2 Accelerates Special trigger (cooldown count-1). If unit is within 3 spaces of an ally, inflicts Atk/Res-X on foe (X = 30% of unit's HP at start of combat + 6; max 18) and unit makes a guaranteed follow-up attack during combat, reduces damage from area-of-effect Specials by 75% (excluding Røkkr area-of-effect Specials), and restores 10 HP to unit after combat, and also, if foe can make a follow-up attack during combat, reduces damage from foe's first attack by 75%. |
Cooldown Count = 2 Treats foe's Def/Res as if reduced by 30% during combat. |
Grants HP+5. At start of combat, if unit's HP > 50%, grants Atk/Res+7 to unit during combat, and also, if unit is within 2 spaces of an ally with HP > 50%, inflicts Special cooldown charge -1 on foe per attack during combat (only highest value applied; does not stack). |
Inflicts Atk-5 on foe during combat. Disables foe's skills that "calculate daage using the lower of foe's Def or Res" and "calculates damage from staff like other weapons." If foe uses staff, neutralizes effects that prevent unit's counterattacks during combat. Restores 10 HP to unit after combat. |
If unit is within 2 spaces of any allies, grants Def/Res+4 and the following effect to unit and those allies during combat: "If unit's HP ≥ 75% and foe would reduce unit's HP to 0, unit survives with 1 HP. (Once per combat. Does not stack with non-Special effects that allow unit to survive with 1 HP if foe's attack would reduce HP to 0.)" |
Duo Skill |
---|
Neutralizes any 【Penalty】 on unit and allies within 2 spaces of unit and restores 20 HP to unit and those allies. Once used, Duo Skill cannot be activated again right away. At start of odd-numbered turns, if Duo Skill has already been used, unit can use Duo Skill again. (Duo Skills can be used once per map by tapping the Duo button. Duo Skills cannot be used by units deployed using Pair Up.) |
Duel |
---|
If unit is 5★ and level 40 and unit's stats total less than 200, treats unit's stats as 200 in modes like Arena. (Higher-scoring opponents will appear. Stat total calculation excludes any values added by merges and skills.) |

See the IV Checker for All Units | Trait Fruits—How to Change IVs |
When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.
The best IVs for Summer Ymir are +Atk and -Spd. Summer Ymir's Atk is a superboon and boosting it improves her ability to defeat her foe in one round of combat, especially with her guaranteed follow-up attack.
Summer Ymir's Spd is insignificant and no amount of investment will allow her to improve her matchup against speedy foes, especially those with Null Follow-Up effects. Spd is the safest bane to take.
We recommend +Atk when merging Summer Ymir to +10 as it is her most important stat.

This build uses Special Spiral to allow Summer Ymir to bypass non-Special damage reduction effects and nuke down her foes. This build is reliant on Sparkling Sun's damage reduction and post-combat healing to keep Summer Ymir alive.

Summer Ymir's base kit is a good mix of offense and defense. Mystic Boost's post-combat healing stacks with Sparkling Sun, providing the sustain necessary to keep triggering Fireflood Boost 3.

Note: Stats bonuses from skills are not taken into account.
Summer Ymir is a ranged magic attacker (range = 2). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage she deals will be equivalent to her Atk minus the foe's Res stat.
Summer Ymir's exclusive weapon Sparkling Sun inflicts an Atk/Res penalty onto her foe equal to 6 + 30% of her HP at the start of combat (capped at 18) and grants Summer Ymir a guaranteed follow-up attack. These effects allow Summer Ymir to leave a huge dent whenever she attacks sturdy foes, and outright defeat foes with subpar magic bulk.
Defensively, Sparkling Sun grants Summer Ymir 75% damage reduction against area-of-effect Specials, 75% damage reduction against her foe's first attack if her foe can make a follow-up attack, and 10 HP post-combat healing to sustain her throughout multiple engagements.
With Summer Ymir's abysmal Spd, foes are virtually guaranteed to attack her twice, ensuring Sparkling Sun's defensive effects activate.
Summer Ymir also comes with an exclusive skill in Everliving Domain similar to her original version.
This skill grants Def/Res+4 to nearby allies and provides a Joint Drive Miracle effect, protecting Summer Ymir and her nearby allies from falling to heavy nukers that deal massive damage in one hit.
This Miracle effect only triggers when the unit's HP ≥ 75%. This can be bypassed by units that attack twice, as long as the first attack brings their HP below the 75% threshold, so be careful when engaging in combat!
Summer Ymir's Duo Skill restores 20 HP and neutralizes all penalties on herself and all allies within 2 spaces when triggered.
Unlike most Duo Skills, this Duo Skill refreshes its use on odd-numbered turns.
These effects are similar to the C skill Odd Recovery 3, allowing Summer Ymir to provide healing and cleansing support to the whole team.
Summer Ymir's Spd sits at an abysmal base 18, and due to Sparkling Sun's preference for receiving follow-up attacks, Summer Ymir will always be doubled.
Normally, Sparkling Sun's damage reduction effect should protect Summer Ymir from being defeated. However, some heroes have effects that neutralize non-Special damage reduction, and these will cause Summer Ymir to fold quickly.
