When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.
The best IVs for Summer Tharja are +Spd and -Def. Summer Tharja's Spd is a superboon and boosting it improves her combat performance, allowing her to keep up with faster units. With the lack of an exclusive weapon, Summer Tharja needs this boost in order to compete.
Summer Tharja's Def is terrible, sitting at only base 19. Any physical attack should defeat her in one hit. Taking Def as a bane doesn't impact any of her matchups.
We recommend +Spd when merging Summer Tharja to +10 to maximize her combat potential as a speedy unit.

This is a good budget kit for Summer Tharja maximizing her performance as an offensive cavalry tome unit. Atk Smoke 3 is used to debuff foes and then retreat using her Far Trace.

Note: Stats bonuses from skills are not taken into account.
Summer Tharja is a ranged magic attacker (range = 2). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage she deals will be equivalent to her Atk minus the foe's Res stat.
Summer Tharja's inheritable weapon Seashell Bowl+ grants Atk/Spd+5 during combat and inflicts a Spd/Res penalty onto her foe based on Summer Tharja's current HP stat.
Seashell Bowl+ also provides 10 HP post-combat healing, keeping Summer Tharja topped off at all times.
Summer Tharja suffers from not having any unique skills to call her own, making her unable to stand out amongst other units.
Blue Tome units as well as ranged Cavalry units are quite abundant in the game, and lacking an exclusive weapon makes Summer Tharja replaceable by better units.
Summer Tharja takes 1.5x damage from cavalry-effective weapons like Thani or Binding Reginleif, and one blow from this type of weapon will deal significant damage. Make sure you know what weapons you are up against before hopping too far into the line of battle!
Should You Unlock Potential for this Hero? |
---|
We recommend that you use Unlock Potential to bring Tharja - Beach Dark Mage from 4 Stars to 5 Stars. Tharja - Beach Dark Mage is very useful as a fast tome cavalry, so you may find using Unlock Potential on Tharja - Beach Dark Mage helpful if your team lacks a party member with this role.
