Play the Memories of Fire

Indigo Memories: The Deceived is unlocked by collecting a Purple Orb from the quest: Memories of Fire.

How to Unlock
In the Path of Destiny, keep moving towards the path until you encounter a Goblin pushing down a boulder. Avoid that and fight the enemies, and then go to the left side where a treasure chest is located.
On the left of the treasure chest is a gap that you can drop from. This area leads to a path to the Purple Orb.
Pick up the Purple Orb in the torch and you can unlock Indigo Memories: The Deceived.

Memories of Fire Walkthrough and Rewards

Indigo Memories: The Deceived Walkthrough

Objectives
1	・Defeat 3 Cactuars ・Defeat the First Cactuar The primary objective of this side mission is to defeat 3 Cactuars. From where you spawn, look for the Cube and turn right and into the tunnel. You'll eventually reach a place where there are two Malboros – defeat them, and then defeat the Cactuar.
2	・Defeat the Second Cactuar In the are you defeat the first Cactuar, there will be a hole in the ground. Jump down into the cavern below, and head forwards until you reach the starting area with the Cube. Head down the tunnel to the left until you reach a clearing. Take the path to the left glowing in red. Head forwards until you enter another clearing. The second Cactuar will be here alongside several other enemies.
3	・Defeat the Third Cactuar Head back to the clearing you exit into through the tunnel. This time, take the right turn. You'll eventually come into another clearing with several Wolves – the last Cactuar to slay will be in this clearing. Once the last Cactuar is done with, the Side Mission will end.

Tips and Strategies

Rush the Cactuars

Cactuars by their very nature are rather annoying creatures, seemingly capable of running away as soon as you reach their position to attack. This is all before they turn around and shoot a steady stream of needles at you, which can quickly drain both your HP and Break Gauge that leads to an early defeat.

To counteract this, choose a useful Ability like Cyclone Rush for Axes. This can easily break the Break Gauge of Cactuar which leads to an easy kill.
