The Sage is The perfect combination of the Black and White Mages. Use black magic to inflict damage to enemies from a distance, or use white magic to recover HP and give buffs to allies. Given its ability to heal with white magic, you can save your potions for boss fights and just dish out damage from a distance.
Though the Sage excels in magic combat, it lacks a good pool of combos at close-range to make up for the times when its MP runs out. It is highly recommended that you pair this job class with the likes of the Samurai, Breaker, and Dragoon because of their innate ability to recover MP while also dealing damage in the process.
The Sage is available once you unlock its corresponding nodes from the end of its pre-requisite jobs.
