Job Limit Releases allow you to raise the level cap for a Job in Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin. Read on to learn how to get Limit Releases in Chaos Mode, and which Jobs you should unlock Limit Releases for first.
List of Contents
Limit Releases are given as mission completion rewards on the CHAOS Difficulty Mode. Each Limit Release can only be obtained once, and there are three Limit releases per Job.
Note: If you unlock multiple Limit Releases by clearing one high level mission, you can increase the level cap by more than one tier at once. Level up to 99 to get the Job Master Trophy.
Some Limit Releases are only rewarded for clearing missions on CHAOS difficulty at a certain mission level or higher. If you clear the mission at the highest level of 300, you will unlock all First-Time Rewards at once.
Increasing a mission's level costs a high amount of Anima Crystals, in addition to the Anima Crystals you will need to level up the Job further. After spending Anima Crystals to increase a mission's level, you can change that mission's level freely from that point on.

Unlocking multiple Limit Releases for the same Job simultaneously will boost the level cap accordingly.
Aim for the Expert Jobs as early as possible. This may sound counter-intuitive since the Expert Jobs are locked behind higher level missions, however, if you can successfully take down a few enemies that drop equipment on a high level mission, you will immediately be much more powerful. Once you have enough weapons and armor, clear the stage for the Expert Job Limit Release.
Note: Even with high level equipment, enemies can break you in one hit, so it will still be a challenge even when you are fully equipped with level appropriate gear.
After unlocking the Limit Release for a Job, you may wonder what the extra levels will be working towards since all the nodes on the Job Tree are full. By leveling up a Job past level 30, you will obtain Master Points which can be spent from the Job Tree menu to boost stats. To do so, click the right stick on the Job Tree menu and you can choose which stats you want to raise.
There are a limited number of points available for each of the four category of stat boosts, so unfortunately you cannot max out all stats for a Job. However, you can reallocate these points at any time to experiment with your build until you find something that works for you.
