Objectives

A Desperate Struggle - Defeat Tiamat
・Fight Tiamat
In the very beginning of the mission, you will fight Tiamat. This is an introduction to the basic combat and movement controls. Dodge Tiamat's attacks and find openings where you can deal damage until you can deplete its Break Gauge and use a Soul Burst.

A Desperate Struggle - Tutorial 1
・Reclaim Your Memories of Combat
・Start Tutorial 1: Basic Controls
・Defeat the Goblin
After fighting Tiamat, you will need to go through tutorial objectives. Move and interact with the shining orb nearby to activate the first tutorial. Use your Normal Attack and Ability, and then Guard and Evade the Goblin's attacks to defeat it.

・Start Tutorial 2: Soul Burst
・Deplete Goblin's Break Gauge
・Use Soul Burst on Goblin
The next tutorial is for the Soul Burst. Use your abilities and attacks to deplete the Break Gauge to defeat the Goblin using the Soul Burst.

・Start Tutorial 3: Soul Shield
・Use the Shield and Trigger an Attack
・Defeat the Goblin
Use your Soul Shield to block the Goblin's attack, and immediately counterattack after it gets staggered.

・Start Tutorial 4: Instant Abilities
・Use Soul Shield to Absorb the Attack
・Defeat the Goblin
The Goblin will launch a ranged attack that you can block and absorb using the Soul Shield. Use that attack and defeat the Goblin.

・Start Tutorial 5: Lightbringer
・Activate Lightbringer
・Defeat the Goblins
Use the Lightbringer, and kill all Goblins to complete the objective. After this, you can leave the area and complete the mission.
