List of Contents
The primary benefit that players can get from the Mage Job is the incredible amounts of magical/elemental damage they can deal from a distance. With the right Abilities from its tree and additional Equipment Effects to boost certain stats, sniping with spells from afar is all that it takes to vanquish even large groups of enemies.

Equipment Effects |

・Magic Damage Dealt ( + ) ・Intellect ( + ) ・MP Recovery Rate with Normal Attacks ( + ) |
Given the Magic based reliance with this build, players will need heavy amounts of both Intellect, Magic Damage boosts, and MP Recovery Rate boosts through Normal Attacks. It is highly suggested that players take on armor pieces and weapons that have one or two of the listed Equipment Effects in order to stack their effects.
If done right, players will almost always never run out of MP to use as they send speedy barrages of magical attacks against enemies.
This build takes advantage of the fact that apart from being able to cast Magic, you are also equipped with a Mace that you can use to crush your enemies with. Not overly reliant on magic, but instead folding it into your combo of attacks, this build is built on the foundations of great MP Recovery and quick casts of basic Magic Spells against enemies for exploitation of their weaknesses.

・Magic Damage Dealt ( + ) ・Intellect ( + ) ・MP Recovery Rate with Normal Attacks ( + ) |
Although this build now makes great use of the Mace, it is still heavily reliant on MP, which makes it necessary that players be able to sufficiently recover any lost amount when MP is used in attacks.
Simply mix your attacks between quick casts of Magic and Normal and Ability attacks to get the maximum amount of damage you can deal against enemies in your way.
Duelist | Available Weapon(s) | Shield? |

Daggers |
Cannot use shields | |
Basic Info | The Duelist is dual wielding rogue-type combatant. Equipped with daggers, it relies on quick attacks and agile dodges to land critical hits on enemies. |
Although Mage is a particuarly great Job to get into due to its high powered nature, it will take some time before you can take full advantage of all the perks it has to offer for you. Players new to the Job may find it difficult to adjust to the slow moving swings of the Mace, and may wish for a backup Job that has the speed that they're looking for.
Duelist is a great secondary Job to make use of, capable of dealing guaranteed criticals against enemies per strike.

Pugilist | Available Weapon(s) | Shield? |

Knuckles |
Cannot use shields | |
Basic Info | The Pugilist is a hand-to-hand combatant. It has good overall balance of attack and defense, however, it's selling point is the barrage of blows it lands with explosive fist. |
As an alternative to Duelist, players may also wish to use Pugilist, which serves as a faster version of the close ranged fighter set-up introduced with the Duelist Job. Despite being one of the more "Basic" Jobs out there in terms of what it contains in its Job Tree, Pugilist is a significantly great Job to make use of when players wish to play fast and loose with their attacks.
