Take Advantage of the Affinity System

Raising the Affinity for a given Job allows you to unlock passive buffs and stat increases as well as earn more EXP for that Job. To increase Affinity, try stacking equipment with high Affinity for a specific Job you want to level up fast or unlock skills from the Job tree that boost Affinity.

Farm Anima Shards

Anima Shards are extremely useful items as they give free levels for a selected Job when you use them. A quick way of farm Anima Shards is to repeat easier missions. You still recieve the same amount of Anima Shards on repeat playthroughs.

Difficulty settings do not change the number of Anima Shards rewarded either, so feel free to switch to an easier difficulty to speed up the grinding process.

Choose Your Favorite Jobs

Find out which Jobs are worth investing in and plan which Job sounds most appealing to your play style. Keep in mind that Advanced Jobs are unlocked by reaching the end of a Basic Job Tree's path, so even if you're not a fan of some early game Jobs, they may be required to unlock a more fun Job later on.

Upgrade Weapons and Armor

Access the Smithy from the Main Menu between missions. Here you can dismantle equipment for materials which you can use to upgrade weapons and armor you plan to use. Note that to level up equipment you will need to dismantle equipment of the same rarity, as upgrade materials are rarity dependant.
