This guide covers the max level in Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin. Here you can learn about how to reach the max level for each job, as well as how to get the highest level weapons and armor.
List of Contents
Each Job can be leveled up to the maximum level of 30, however on CHAOS difficulty, the maximum level for jobs can be raised to 99. Note that CHAOS Difficulty is unlocked by clearing the game on any lower difficulty level.
By clearing missions on CHAOS Difficulty, you will unlock Limit Releases. These allow you to level up a Job beyond level 30, raising the level cap to 99.
Since after level 30 there are no more nodes to unlock on the Job Tree, instead you unlock Master Points which allow you to raise your stats from the Job Tree menu.
The maximum level cap for missions, weapons, and armor is 300. On CHAOS Difficulty, you can choose to raise a mission's level by using Anima Crystals. The maximum mission level can be raised to 300, with that mission's rewards also raising to that level.
First, unlock the Limit Release for the desired job on CHAOS Difficulty to raise the Job level cap to 99. Next raise your Affinity for that Job to increase your EXP gained. To do so, it's best to have the item Smith's Hammer III which allows you to raise the Affinity of your equipment. Get this item by clearing the side mission Indigo Memories: The Stabbed which you unlock by finding a purple orb in the main mission The Suffering of Fools.
Once you have the Limit Release and a high Affinity for the desired Job, select a mission that has Main Item Drops for the Job you are trying to level up. Farm the enemies in that level for EXP and better equipment. Higher level missions will give better EXP and equipment, so be sure to raise the level of the mission with Anima Crystals on CHAOS Difficulty.
Note: You can abandon mission and still keep all EXP without fighting the boss of the level.
Equipment level cannot be raised, but mission level can. To get weapons and armor of the highest level, you will need to take on the highest level missions. On CHAOS Difficulty, you can raise the mission level to a maximum of 300 by using Anima Crystals. This will improve the equipment rewards you receive from that mission.
To max out Equipment Effects, go to the Smithy from the Main Menu when on the World Map between missions. Select Upgrade Special Effect, and from the following menu you can use materials to upgrade the Equipment Effects of your weapons and armor. If you don't have enough materials, you can dismantle extra equipment to upgrade equipment you plan on using.
