High Crit Build

This build will focus on raising your Agility and movement speed to allow for better and faster repositioning behind enemies to land critical hits. Most of its combos will focus more on releasing series of slashes rather than single blows. This ensures a higher chance of landing a greater number of critical hits to fully make use of Assassinate.

• Flee: Increases your movement speed to help you position yourself behind an enemy for easier critical hits. This will also help in evading incoming enemy attacks and quick repositioning to gain the advantage.
• Invisible: This makes you less likely to be seen by the enemies allowing you to focus on landing critical hits. This also gives you more breathing room in finding which position is more susceptible to critical hits.
• Lunatic: Lunatic allows you to speed up your attacks so you can land more crits and fully utilize your Assassinate ability.

• Critical Break Damage : Increase your critical break damage as a backup to allow for soul bursting in case Assassinate does not quickly end the enemy.
• Deadly Daggers: This passive enhances the critical bonus from combos assigned to the 3rd Link. It is recommended that you choose a combo that launches a series of attacks to have higher chances of landing critical hits.
• Dagger Cancel: When paired with Flee, this allows you to dodge more quickly giving you a better chance of repositioning yourself for critical hits.

Recommended Equipment Effects

Agility functions in the same way as Dexterity would in other games, higher Agility, higher chances of landing critical hits. Crits are essential to the Assassin Job as its Ability revolves solely on critical hits.

Basic Info	The Pugilist is a hand-to-hand combatant. It has good overall balance of attack and defense, however, it's selling point is the barrage of blows it lands with explosive fist.

The Pugilist has a good stat bonus alloted for Agility, allowing you to boost your chances of landing critical hits. In addition, the Pugilist will not slow down the Assassin's attack pattern as both jobs share similar passive bonuses.

Basic Info	The Liberator is a weapon generalist. This Job has access to all weapon types and the ability MIghty Guard that decreases damage taken by any nearby ally gradually restore their HP.

The Liberator is also a good candidate for the Assassin because it could bolster overall survivability since you'll have Mighty Guard on-swap, alongside Flee + Invisible.
