A combination of the most agile basic job classes, the Pugilist and Duelist blend very well together. The Pugilist can deliver hard hitting physical attacks, while the Duelist can deal very quick slashing attacks that deal critical damage. Combining these two offers a very fast and aggressive playstyle, designed around dealing damage quickly, while being able to use that same speed to dodge attacks.
The Swordfighter is a very balanced class that offers great close-ranged combat ability, while the Mage can cast powerful spells that can heavily damage some of the game's stronger enemies. This combination allows you to remain strong when fighting up-close, while still having the firepower to launch spells at long range. This creates a strong early-game support role for your party.
A combination of job that use their own versions of two-handed swords, the Swordsman and Ronin are both great that dealing high damage in close quarters combat. The Swordsman's Greatsword is very effective against large enemies, while the Ronin is a more agile option that allows you to attack quicker, but deal high damage at the same time. This build is the main damage dealer of the party, along with being able to absorb a lot of enemy damage in return.

An upgraded version of the Pugilist and the Duelist, this job combination retains their basic job strengths, but with better abilities than before. The monk can dish out high damage, which only gets higher with each combo. The Thief, on the other hand, can hit fast and deal critical damage. They can also steal instant abilities, allowing you to have extra skills to use during a fight.
A very strong support build with solid offensive capability. The Knight offers great close-quarter combat capability, allowing you to generate a lot of MP using your attack combos. This allows you to use the White Mage abilities to buff or heal party members.
This job combination has the goal of dealing the most damage possible, and fight enemies head-on. The Berserker deals massive damage using heavy attacks that stagger and knockdown the enemy, and abilities that allow you to increase your overall damage output. The Samurai, on the other hand, is a swift attacker that deals high damage, and is best against quicker enemies.
