Souleater Build

This build will focus on only dealing damage when you have an opening. The Dark Knight's Souleater ability is not an ability that is meant to be spammed, but only to be used sparingly because of the HP consumption that activates when you deal damage.

Blood Weapon	Mighty Strikes	Drain

• Blood Weapon: Blood Weapon is meant to counteract the adverse effects of using Souleater. You may not always have potions, so having a command that can restore HP is a must for the Dark Knight.
• Mighty Strikes: Mighty Strikes acts another buff for when your health is low, or you deactivate Souleater but still need more a bit more power to finish the enemy.
• Drain: Drain is also Dark Knight's own command, making it an obvious choice to have in your Command loadout. Drain is best used when surrounded by mobs as it drains HP from all enemies near you.

• Near Death: Damage Dealt: The Dark Knight with its affinity maxed out will deal more damage the closer it is to death, while it is hard to farm armor and weapons to max out that affinity bonus, the Dark Knight offers passives that can achieve the same effect.
• Brutal Axe: This build will focus only on attack when it will benefit us the most, our combos and combo ability effects will only focus with attacks that only land one powered up blow.
• Ruinous Tactic: The reason that the axe is chosen over the greatsword is because of the greater damage output the axe has over the greatsword. Focus only on attacking with combos while Souleater is active.

Recommended Equipment Effects

Souleater only consumes HP when you damage your opponent. This means that you wait the fight out, attacking only when the opportunity to land a staggering blow presents itself. Let enemies focus on allies and deal critical hits from behind to recover HP.

Basic Info	The Liberator is a weapon generalist. This Job has access to all weapon types and the ability MIghty Guard that decreases damage taken by any nearby ally gradually restore their HP.

Because of the Liberator's Mighty Guard ability that shields you from damage while also recovering HP will compensate for the Dark Knight's Souleater.

Basic Info	The Paladin turns defensive strength into offensive power. With the Holy Fang ability, Paladins can recover health whenever they land a hit and deal additional holy damage when their HP is at max.

Holy Fang can also compensate for the Dark Knight's ability making it a good candidate to recover HP as the Dark Knight's expends HP in exchange for power.
