Four Shadows oversee the entire boss area from the second floor. These Shadows will hurl spells towards you and your party throughout the fight, soake them out first before entering the room where the Ravenous Coeurl is to make the fight a lot easier.

Thundara and Blaster are blockable attacks that have heavy telegraphs. Blocking these two attacks with well-timed Soul Shields can trivialize the entire fight.

Ravenous Coeurl has quick attacks that can easily overwhelm their target. Let your companions take aggro while you swing away from the flank or rear. Activating Resonance lets your companions help out in terms of DPS as well!

Ravenous Coeurl Attack Patterns

Physical Attacks

Attack	Description
Single Swipe	A simple swipe with one of Ravenous Coeurl's paws. Be wary of this attack at all times when you're in front of the boss.
Tackle	Ravenous Coeurl rams its shoulders towards the target, dealing high damage and opens them up to potential Thundara or Breaker attacks. Stay on your toes and be ready to block or dodge at a moment's notice.
Rake	A series of fast claw swipes that'll easily deplete your Break Gauge. Easily dodged or blocked with a Soul Shield.
Tail Uppercut	Ravenous Coeurl does a summersault, whipping its tail upward to deal damage to anyone in front of it.
Bounding Strike	An unblockable attack that results in a devastating grapple animation. Stay away from Ravenous Coeurl's pounce trajectory as soon as it glows red.

Magical Attacks

Attack	Description
Thundara	A targetted lightning bolt that is telegraphed by producing blue light around its intended target. This can be easily absorbed with Soul Shields.
Breaker	Ravenous Coeurl discharges lightning in a wide circle around it. This is usually casted after Thundara and can also be absorbed with Soul Shield.
