How to Change Jobs
Switching between jobs is a feature available for players at any moment in Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin! Read on to learn how to change jobs in the game.

Change Jobs in Battle Settings

Step Explanation

Select Battle Settings
From the Main Menu, select Battle Settings. Players are free to do this from the World Map or in-game.

Select Jobs
Highlight the Jobs Panel on top of your Equipment List and press confirm.

Choose a Job
Change your job to a different one available in the list. Pressing Triangle (for Playstation) or Y (for Xbox) will switch between the 1st and 2nd job slot.

Players have to option to change their jobs at any point in the game. Each job has a unique set of abilities and can be upgraded to unlock even more jobs.

How to Change Party Member Jobs

In addition to changing your own jobs, you also have the option to change your party member's jobs. Mix and match your jobs as well as your party's jobs to utilize multiple damage types and synergize abilities.

How to Change Jobs in Combat

Press Triangle or Y

Change Jobs in Combat

Once you have selected your desired jobs, you can also switch between those 2 jobs in combat by pressing Triangle (for Playstation) or Y (for Xbox). You can quickly change jobs by pressing the same buttons after using a Ability Combo as well. This transition is seamless and can help your combos go even smoother.
