Info The Berserker is one the tankiest damage output with access to both the greatsword and the axe. They also have the Berserk ability that temporarily increases their strength even further at the expense of the ability to use potions.
Job Action Berserk: Temporarily increases attack. In addition, temporarily decreases the chance of being staggered, and increases the chance of staggering enemies.

With the Berserk ability, you can go all out and just pummel your enemies to the ground. Going Berserk will help in staggering enemies especially when you are up against bulkier and tankier enemies such as bosses. This also reduces the chances that you will be staggered by enemy attacks. Take advantage of combo ability effects like Arcane Axe that refills your break gauge based on your damage output.

The Berserker can choose between a Greatsword and an Axe. Both weapons deal heavy break damage, with the Greatsword slightly getting the upper hand with attack speed but loosing to the Axe in terms of damage output. Berserkers also have the ability to charge any attack within an Attack Combo if you're planning on maximizing DPS especially against hard-to-stagger enemies.

Unlocked from Basic Jobs

The Berserker is available once you unlock its corresponding nodes from the end of its pre-requisite jobs.

Swing your axe in a circle, damaging nearby enemies, then strike the ground. Hold Ability to increase the ability's power and duration.
This Ability can only be set to:
R1 > R2
XBOX Right Button > XBOX Right Trigger
Ruthless BlowRuthless Blow
MP Cost: Ruthless Blow | Weapon : Axe Icon.png
Type: Strike | Stat Bonus: Strength/Stamina
Swing upward after a thrust with your axe and then finish by slamming it into the ground. Hold Ability to increase the attack's power.
This Ability can be set to any link.
