Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2 Gameplay

Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2 compiles entries from the long-running series, each centered on careful movement and being alert. Success depends on reading patrol routes, choosing the right requirements, and finding paths through hostile zones. Direct confrontation is also possible, but oftentimes staying unseen is tried and tested as the most rewarding approach.
Each included title builds on the stealth formula in its own way. Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots features smoother controls, active warzones, and advanced camouflage systems that adapt to modern military settings.
Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker centers on mission-based operations, adding co-op play along with base building, soldier recruitment, and equipment development between deployments. Meanwhile, Metal Gear: Ghost Babel sticks closer to classic top-down stealth, focusing on level design, careful enemy patrol reading, and gadget use for precision and planning.
Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2 Story Plot

The Master Collection Vol.2 continues the Metal Gear saga’s sprawling narrative, returning players to a world shaped by political chaos, private armies, and the lingering legacy of legendary operatives. In Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, long-time protagonist Solid Snake races against time to stop Liquid Ocelot in order to prevent his enemy from completing world domination and as a favor to his friend. Old allies and enemies resurface as Snake confronts his own mortality and uncovers deeper ties between the world’s power brokers and the mechanisms of war.
Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker takes place earlier in the timeline, focusing on Big Boss, the man whose legend spawned the franchise’s conflicts, as he builds his own military force on the shores of Costa Rica. Caught between Cold War politics and covert operations, Big Boss must decide what kind of soldier he wants to be while facing ghostly apparitions from his past and forging bonds with new comrades.
Metal Gear: Ghost Babel takes place on the fictional island of Galuade, where a renegade nation has acquired a nuclear-armed Metal Gear and threatens global security. Players step into the boots of Solid Snake, sent in to infiltrate and disable the Metal Gear threat and, most importantly, prevent catastrophic war.
