How to Beat Cushion Pound
Cushion Pound Attack Patterns
Fire Projectile
Regardless if you are in close or long distance from a Cushion Pound, it can and will try to shoot Fire projectiles at you. If you receive sufficient hits from these projectiles, you will be inflicted with the Burning Status Ailment.
Spinning Attack
Once you have moved into its immediate area for melee hits, Cushion Pounds will spin, using its hanging tail to hit you. Receiving these hits will cause you to fall to your back, which may leave you vulnerable to fire projectiles as you get up.
Cushion Pound Strategies
Break its Shell
Regular melee hits are effective in destorying the shell protecting the weak point of the Cushion Pound. Another – better option – is to use regular Psychokinesis Attacks or Special Object Attacks to quickly crush its shell. Once destroyed, melee attacks will do.
Dodge and Intercept
You can Dodge and Intercept the fire projectiles that the Cushion Pound sends at you. This method brings small damage against it, only increased once its shell has been broken.
