How to Unlock Sweet Feast

Get the Sapphire Star in Chapter 5

Mario unlocks the Sweet Feast special move after obtaining the Sapphire Star from Cortez in Chapter 5. This also increases Mario's SP gauge by 1, maxing it out at 6 SP.

Sweet Feast is an upgraded version of Mario's first special move, Sweet Treat. You can earn more HP and FP with this move, however, it costs significantly more SP.

Sweet Feast Action Command Timing

Hold the L Stick Left to Hit Targets

The Action Command for Sweet Feast requires the player to tilt and hold the L Stick left to hit whatever the arrow is aiming at. The arrow will move up and down continuously until the special move runs out of time. Hitting a heart restores the corresponding character's HP. A flower restores FP, and a Poison Mushroom will stun Mario for a few seconds.
