You can recover FP with items, badges, and resting at an Inn in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door (TTYD)! Read on to learn how else you can recover FP and what you can do to not run out!
Moves like Mario's Sweet Feast or Sweet Treat can recover FP. These are great ways to recover FP because they only use Star Power, and does not use any items or coins.
Badges like Happy Flower and Pity Flower will incrementally recover FP for you.
Their recovery is small at just 1 FP, but always having them on will easily keep your FP high, making it a good idea to always have them equipped.
Flower Points gets restored whenever Mario levels up.
Upon leveling up, you will fully recover FP without consuming anything, so it is recommended that you save your recovery items if you are near leveling up
Matching 3 Stars or Shine Sprites during Bingo will fully charge Star Power. However, it's best not to rely too much on Bingo for charging Star Power since it's a matter of luck.
Recovery Items are items that can be used to restore resources, namely HP and FP.
These items can be used to keep Mario and his party in a effective in a battle for longer.
Staying at an inn will completely replenish your HP, FP, and SP. This will come at a cost, however, which will vary for different inns.
Jumping on Recovery Blocks found around the map will fully recover your HP and FP at the cost of some coins.
Recovery Blocks are often found before boss battles, allowing you to recover before battle.
Defeating enemies appearing on stage will sometimes drop Flowers.
Whether or not an enemy will drop a Flowers is random, so it is recommended to repeat easy battles to recover FP.
Your maximum FP can be raised by selecting FP in the stats roll when you level up. Increasing your FP will increase the number of times you can use powerful moves and make battles much easier.
If you want to quickly defeat enemies, we recommend raising your FP.
You can increase your maximum FP by 5 by equipping the FP Plus badge.
You can find this badge at the Pianta Parlor for 100 Piantas after getting the Special Card. You can also find it in Rogueport Sewers' Pipe Room.
FP is consumed when Mario and the party use moves that are unique to them. These moves that use up FP are more powerful than regular moves because they are able to attack more targets.

More powerful moves will usually consume more FP. If you want to use certain moves continuously, consider equipping badges or using items that recover FP.
Mario and his partner share FP, so the same FP is used when using unique moves. This makes it so players must be aware of the whole party's FP consumption to avoid running out during battle.
