Pungent's Great Tree shop is located in a hidden room, behind a piece of paper, within the Great Tree. The room can be revealed by using Flurrie's ability and is located on the lower part of the room where you first encounter a Jabbi.
In Chapter 3, Mario will receive RDM Issue 2 in his emal with a limited-time double shop points promo for this store.

Some bushes scattered around the Great Tree can have coins hiding underneath. Squash them with your hammer for a chance to get coins.
After you rescue the Puni Elder in the highest room of the Great Tree, you can find her in the entrance room. After she gives you the Puni Orb, you can talk to her to call out all the Punies that joined you.
The Puni Orb is a key item that can help you lead the Punies that follow you around the tree.
Jabble the Jabbi is a friend of Punio that can be found hiding on the left side of Pungent's Great Tree Shop. Upon encountering and talking to him, if you choose the option to leave him alone, he will join you in fighting against the other Jabbies. If you choose to fight him, he will run away.
After the events of Chapter 2, he can be found hiding in the back bush in the room to the left of the cages at the highest part of the tree. He will give you a Mushroom if you find him here .
Petuni, the younger sister of Punio, can be interacted with after the events of Chapter 2 to obtain a Mystic Egg. She has a pink antenna and can be found in the entrance room of The Great Tree.
You can play the Stump Petuni game with her and ask her the question “Mario likes which person the best?” After she answers the question correctly, she will hand over to you a Mystic Egg.
Do note that this is the only question she will be able to answer, and you can obtain multiple Mystic Eggs from her by playing the game over and over again.

The Battle Master can be found right outside the Great Tree. Talk to him if you want to practice any moves, especially Madame Flurrie's, who gets added to your party in Chapter 2.

Jabbies are special enemies that are known to be a rival tribe of the Punies and allies of the X-Naut. You can battle the jabbies in front of their nests.
The Punies are the main attackers in these battles, but Mario can also help by using Madame Flurrie's ability to stun them. Do note that you can lose the battles against the Jabbies, so it's best to try and help instead of just watching it all unfold.
