You can receive the email called Congrats, you comprehensive collecter! once your Zess T.'s Recipes, the Tattle Log, and Badge List.in your Journal are all complete. This email will tell you to go to Rogueport Square to claim your reward.

You'll be able to find the Gold Medal badge at the center of the plaza, on the platform with the noose.

Email System Explained

Emails are Found in the Mailbox SP

The Mailbox SP is where you can find all the emails that you've received. Most emails require you to go here in order to read them, but for certain story emails like the ones from X in Chapter 3 and all of Princess Peach's emails, you only need to press A when Mario receives them.

The Mailbox SP can be accessed from the Gears menu, below the Useful Items tab.

Some Emails Unlock Features and Battles

Paper Mario TTYD Switch Remake - Prince Mush Email

Certain emails will notify you if you've unlocked anything new. Toad Bros. Bazaar will send you an email once the Contact Lens you've ordered is available for purchase.

You will also receive emails for the new special boss fights in the Switch remake once you've unlocked them. You'll receive an email from Prince Mush once he's available to fight at the Glitz Pit after completing certain requirements. After fulfilling the requirements for the Whacka battle, you'll receive an RDM Extra Issue about a fabled creature in the Pit of 100 Trials.
