1 | You will begin the course in Plane Mode. Start by tilting the joystick Up momentarily. The trick is to release the joystick as soon as Mario becomes an airplane. |

2 | When you start to decelerate, move the joystick in the right direction and tilt it downwards for a moment. Be careful not to tilt it down for too long, otherwise you will not accelerate. |
3 | Alternate between moving the stick up and down to maintain altitude and continue flying, as seen in the How to Fly Farther video above. Fly with the intention of keeping the plane high. |
Piantas earned in one hour. |
If you can consistently reach 500 meters or more in one try while playing the Plane Game, you can earn up to 30-50 tokens per attempt. This lets you earn 1000 Piantas in an hour, but only if you can consistently get past 500 meters on each try.
Additionally, because every attempt costs 10 Piantas per game, if you can't collect any Piantas in the air or get less than 300 meters, you will not earn as much. Be careful and try to consistently reach at least 400 meters with each attempt.
You can reasonably get 40-50 Piantas at 600 meters, but it is difficult and could stand to lose Piantas if you fail.
It is recommended to aim for the x2 Panel at the 500 meter mark, which can earn you more than 40 Piantas per game. This is easier than aiming for 600 meters, so consider this if you want to earn more Piantas without the trouble of reaching 600 meters.
Because Plane Mode requires only joystick controls, it is much easier compared to the other games. The picture matching game also only needs a few button presses, but it is more difficult as you need the correct timing to get bigger rewards.
Playing the Plane Game is a more efficient way to earn Piantas.

Reception |
You must first obtain the Special Card to play the Plane Game at Pianta Parlor, found west of Rogueport. You will have to pay 10 Piantas per game. If you do not have the Special Card, the option to play will not appear.
Special Card Effect and How to Get
You can obtain the Special Card by completing the Try to Find Me! request from Koopook at the Trouble Center, which is located past the bridge on the east side of Rogueport.
Koopook Location: Try to Find Me! Walkthrough
The Plane Game is a game at Pianta Parlor where you try to reach as far as you can from the starting point with Plane Mode. The farther you fly, the more Piantas you earn, so aim to get to 500m or 600m.
Landing on panels increases the Piantas you can earn depending on what panel you land on. Aim for panels to earn more Piantas!
