Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door can now be pre-ordered digitally on the Nintendo e-Shop. Pre-orders for physical copies of this game are also being accepted by select retailers.
The Nintendo Switch remake of Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door was first revealed during the September 14, 2023 Nintendo Direct.
The trailer shows the book containing the story of the Thousand-Year Door, snippets of the gameplay, recruitable party members, and audio-visuals that have been noticeably improved upon compared to the original GameCube game.
The exact release date for the game wasn't shown in the first reveal trailer. Instead, the May 23, 2024 release date was revealed in the MAR10 Day video on March 10, 2024.
