Whacka Bump	Hit the Whacka at the leftmost part of Keelhaul Key.
Keel Mango	Hit the large tree to the right of the shantytown at Keelhaul Key.
Mini Mr. Mini	Hit the bush in the second area to the right of the shantytown.
Inn Coupon	Found in the bush on the left side of the rope bridge. This bridge is on the third area from the right side of the shantytown.
Coconut	Hit the coconut tree in the background of the rope bridge. The pipe that leads to it is beneath the bridge. Use Yoshi to get to this pipe from the left side.
Ice Power	Found beneath the rope bridge on the third area from the right side of the shantytown. Use Paper Mode to fall down here from the gaps in the bridge.
Chuckola Cola	Is a key item that Flavio will give you in exchange for a Coconut.
Spite Pouch	Hit the bush near the water in front of the cave with a skull blocking the entrance. This cave is on the fourth area from the right side of the shantytown.
Wedding Ring	Hit the sparkling bush to the left of the tree where you rescued Bobbery. Only appears after finishing chapter 5, visiting Don Pianta, and talking to Frankie/Francesca.

Whacka Bump

Whacka Bump is a recovery item that is dropped by a Whacka, which is a blue mole, by hitting it with a hammer. The Whacka is located on the northwest corner of the first area after the shipwreck cutscene at Keelhaul Key.

Note that you can only obtain a total of 8 Whacka Bumps then the Whacka would not spawn again.

Keel Mango

Keel Mango is a fruit that can be harvested only at Keelhaul Key. Use your hammer to hit the large tree located in the area to the right of the shantytown.

You can harvest multiple Keel Mangoes by hitting them then leaving the area then coming back overe and over again.

Shantytown

The shantytown is a little town built from the wreckage of the S.S. Flavion at Keelhaul Key. This is where you can rest at the inn, shop at Keelhaul Galleria, and talk to the other sailors that live there, like Pa-Patch.

Keelhaul Key Battle Master

The Battle Master at Keelhaul Key can be found beside the inn. You can use him to practice any of Mario's moves or his partners'.

Flavio and His Skull Gem

While progressing through Chapter 5, Flavio will join your party for a short while. His Skull Gem and song help you solve the puzzle at the entrance of Pirate's Grotto. After opening the cave entrance, Flavio will take his Skull Gem back and return to the shantytown.

After the events of Chapter 5, Flavio can be seen back at Rogueport.

Pirate's Grotto Entrance

At the rightmost section of Keelhaul Key is a mysterious skull-shaped rock. After solving the puzzle with the help of Flavio and using Admiral Bobbery to blow open the entrance, you can enter Pirate's Grotto.

Take note that incorrectly hitting the statues in front of the entrance will result in an unescapable fight with Embers.

Frankie and Francesca

You can rescue a shipwrecked Frankie and Francesca at Pirate's Grotto during Chapter 5. After you complete this chapter, they will remain at Keelhaul Key. However, once you visit Don Pianta to ask for help in getting to the next chapter, they will be asked to come back.

You can find them as they search for a missing Wedding Ring to the right of the pond outside the shantytown. Help them get the ring in order to bring them back to Rogueport and proceed to Chapter 6.
