Ask Petuni the correct question to get a Mystic Egg in the Stump Petuni mini game in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door (TTYD). Read on to know the right question to ask Petuni, and learn how you can replay the question game!
List of Contents

The correct question to ask Petuni during the Stump Petuni game is 'Mario likes which person the most?'
If you get the question right, Petuni will answer Princess Peach, and will give Mario a Mystic Egg as thanks for playing with her.
| Prompt | Question |
|---|---|
| #1 | ✓ Mario... |
| Luigi... | |
| The X-Naut Army... | |
| #2 | studies... |
| ✓ likes... | |
| decorates... | |
| #3 | what tree trunk... |
| ✓ which person... | |
| what room... | |
| #4 | ✓ the most? |
| the best? | |
| for the heck of it? |

If you make any other choices when coming up with a question, Petuni will be puzzled, as she will not get your question.
This in turn will result in you not getting a Mystic Egg, as you need to ask the correct question every time. You can quickly retry by talking to her again.
The Stump Petuni mini game will be available at The Great Tree after completing Chapter 2 and helping the Punies.
To start this activity, talk to Petuni at The Great Tree once all of the Punies are back inside the area.
Chapter 2: The Great Boggly Tree Walkthrough

Every time you ask Petuni the correct question, you will get a Mystic Egg which you can use alone as an item or as an ingredient for various recipes.
Mystic Egg Effect and How to Get
You can replay Stump Petuni as long as you want, which means that you can get the Mystic Egg item multiple times.
To replay the game, simply exit the Great Tree and go to another location, then return to the area. You can easily do this by entering the warp pipe, going to the Pipe Room, and then going back to the same pipe that leads outside the Great Tree.
