Party Members Attacks

Paper Mario TTYD Switch Remake - Partner Move

Mario isn't the only one that can fight during battles, as his party members can also use a variety of attacks or support moves to aid him.

Each party member has a move that costs 0 Flower Points to use, but some of the more powerful ones costs a few FP.

Additionally, you'll find that each party member you recruit will have a move that is useful in the chapter that you meet them, but try to also use these in future chapters!

Upgrade Party Members to Unlock Moves

When you recruit a party member, you will only have access to two of their moves. You need to upgrade your members to their Super and Ultra Ranks to unlock their third and fourth moves, which also upgrades their basic moves.

Merlon, which you can find in Rogueport beside Professor Frankly's house, can upgrade your party members using Shine Sprites.
