The Pipe Room is a new fast travel room that can be unlocked in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door (TTYD). Read on to find out how to unlock and how to go to the pipe room!

How to Unlock Pipe Zone

Complete Chapter 1

You have to progress through the story and complete Chapter 1 and return to Rogueport

Purchase Zess T.'s Contact Lens

The Contact Lens can be bought in Toad Bros. Bazaar Items Shop for 10 coins. After buying it, you can give it to Zess T. and she will step away from the path, giving you access to the west part of Rogueport.

Enter Pipes to Fast Travel

There are several pipes inside the Pipe Room which you can use to quickly travel to previous areas that you've been to.

Do note that pipes leading to these locations will only show up after completing the chapter that features the location. For example, you can only use the fast travel pipe to Glitzville after completing Chapter 3.

How to Go to the Pipe Room

1. Slide Down Sewer Grate in West Rogueport
2. Go Down the Northeastern Warp Pipe
3. Slide Through the Fence, Then Drop Down
4. Enter the Pipe Room.
5. Hit Blue ! Block to Reveal Shortcut

Slide Down Sewer Grate in West Rogueport

After gaining access to the west side of Rogueport, you can immediately go to the Pipe Room by going down the sewer grate with the help of Paper Mode.

Go Down the Northeastern Warp Pipe

Once down, you need to head down to the right and go down the warp pipe that is located on the northeast side of the room.

Slide Through the Fence, Then Drop Down

After reaching B2F by going down the warp pipe, you can use Paper Mode to go slide through the fence and drop down on the right side of the big yellow block.

Enter the Pipe Room

You can enter the door on your right, and once through, you have reached the Pipe Room. The Pipe Room is a new room that can be found in Rogueport Sewers that can be used to fast travel and help you get around certain areas.

The room has blue pipes that are labeled with a number that corresponds to the location it leads to in each chapter of the story.

Hit Blue ! Block to Reveal Shortcut

Inside the Pipe Room, you can hit the blue ! block on the right side to reveal a warp pipe shortcut that will spawn in Rogueport.
