Mario Defense Stat Badges

Some badges can directly increase Mario's defense stat upon meeting certain conditions during a battle.

BP: 2 		Damage is decreased by 1 with a Guard Action command. Rogueport Sewers

BP: 5 		Increases Mario's defense by 1. Twilight Town
Paper Mario TTYD Switch Remake - Last Stand Last Stand
BP: 1 		Decreases damage taken by half when Mario is in danger. Glitzville
Lucky Start
BP: 4 		Something good is likely to happen at the beginning of battle. Creepy Steeple
P-Down, D-Up
BP: 2 		Decreases the damage taken by Mario and the damage dealt by 1. Pirate's Grotto

Some badges give Mario passive defense bonuses during battles.

BP: 7 		Causes enemies to miss their attacks on Mario. Pit Of 100 Trials
Paper Mario TTYD Switch Remake - Pretty Lucky Pretty Lucky
BP: 2 		Causes enemies to miss their attacks when attacking Mario sometimes. Dazzle
Return Postage
BP: 7 		Makes attackers take half the damage they deal. Pit Of 100 Trials
Zap Tap
BP: 3 		Deals damage to enemies that make contact with Mario Pit Of 100 Trials
