The Trouble Center in Rogueport offers requests that Mario can do to get rewards in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door (TTYD). Read on for a list of all Trouble Center requests in the game, the rewards, its location, and more!

	McGoomba	Request: Safe Delivery... Reward: 30 Coins Unlock: After Prologue McGoomba needs you to deliver a secret package to Goomfrey in front of Professor Frankly's House.
	Arfur	Request: Competitor Research! Reward: 30 Coins Unlock: After Prologue Arfur needs you to take note of the prices of a Fire Flower, a Sleepy Sheep, and a Tasty Tonic. You can be truthful or pick out random numbers and he'll still give you the reward.
	Goomther	Request: Find This Guy! Reward: 30 Coins Unlock: After Prologue Goomther needs you to find Larson, a Bandit who committed credit card fraud on him. You can find Larson in a hidden alley to the left of Merlon's place.
	Mousimilian	Request: Hit Me, Please! Reward: Sleepy Sheep Tip Unlock: After Prologue Talk to Mousimilian in front of the item shop at Rogueport Plaza, he'll tell you to hit him with your hammer to jog his memory. Hit Mousimilian repeatedly until he says "I remembered..." Make sure not to hit him again after that because he might forget what he remembered.
	Bomberto	Request: I'm Hungry! Reward: 11 Coins Unlock: After Prologue Give Bomberto any food item in your inventory in order to fulfill his request.
	Garf	Request: Need a Key! Reward: 30 Coins Unlock: After Prologue Give Garf the House Key located in front of the Lovely Howz of Badges.
	Plenn T.	Request: Help Me Restock! Reward: Ultra Shroom Unlock: After Chapter 1 For this quest, you need to give five Courage Shells to the Rogueport item shopkeeper. These shells can be purchased at Niff T.'s shop in Petalburg.
	Mayor Kroop	Request: Listen to Me! Reward: Turtley Leaf Unlock: After Chapter 1 Visit Mayor Kroop in Petalburg and listen to Mayor Kroop talk about life, rude youngsters, and his beloved wife to earn your reward.
	Koopook	Request: Try to Find Me! Reward: Special Card Unlock: After Chapter 1 Koopook, the Hide 'n' Seek Koopa, can be found on a platform in Hooktail Castle below the room where you first encounter Ms. Mowz.
	Puni Elder	Request: Life Mushroom! Reward: 50 Coins Unlock: After Chapter 2 Once you have a Life Shroom in your inventory, all you have to do is go to the Great Tree in Boggly Woods and give it to the Puni Elder.
	Lahla	Request: Come Over And Play! Reward: 10 Piantas Unlock: After Chapter 2 Go to the Pianta Parlor on the west side of Rogueport. Talk to Lahla the Boo at the counter.
	Pine T. Jr.	Request: Help My Daddy! Reward: Silver Card Unlock: After Chapter 2 Head into the Pit of 100 Trials until the 20th floor. Pine T. Jr's dad can be found on the 18th floor, and you can talk to him after defeating the enemy on that level.
	Jolene	Request: Help Wanted! Reward: 30 Coins Unlock: After Chapter 3 Jolene has moved into Mr. Grubb's office and needs the storage room beside it to be clear of stinky garbage. Pick up 20 pairs of Battle Trunks from the storeroom.
	Merlee	Request: Heartful Cake Recipe... Reward: 30 Coins Unlock: After Chapter 3 Get the Heartful Cake recipe by talking to Toce T. in Petalburg. Talk to Marlee and she will ask you to get Cake Mix. You can buy Cake Mix from the Pianta Parlor for 6 piantas.
	Bub-ulber	Request: The Food I Want Reward: Dried Bouquet Unlock: After Chapter 3 Go to Petalburg and give Bub-ulber each food item that they request. Bub-ulber will ask for 2 Hot Dogs and a Mousse Cake.
	Ms. Mowz	Request: Elusive Badge! Reward: Attack FX B Unlock: After Chapter 4 Find the Attack FX B in Hooktail Castle and give it to Ms Mowz. Impressed by your skills, Ms. Mowz will decide to join your party.
	Zess T.	Request: Seeking Legendary Book! Reward: Honey Shroom Unlock: After Chapter 4 Get the Cookbook from the chest in the Creepy Steeple and hand it to Zess T.
	Eve	Request: Tell that Person... Reward: Meteor Meal Unlock: After Chapter 5 Talk to Eve in her house in Twilight Town and to Podley at the Rogueport inn. You can choose to tell the truth or lie.
	Goom Goom	Request: Looking for a Gal! Reward: Couple's Cake Unlock: After Chapter 5 Talk to Goom Goom at Keelhaul Key with Goombella as your active partner.
	Frankie	Request: Important Thing! Reward: Gold Card Unlock: After Chapter 6 Find Frankie's Wedding Ring on top of the wall of east Rogueport.
	Chef Shimi	Request: Get These Ingredients! Reward: 40 Coins Unlock: After Chapter 6 Chef Shimi needs 3 ingredients—Mystic Egg, Keel Mango, and Golden Leaf—that he needs for cooking.
	Toodles	Request: I Need My Magazine. Reward: Platinum Card Unlock: After Chapter 6 Toodles, who lives in Poshley Heights, is asking for help getting her Wrestling Mag back from Jolene, who works far away at Glitzville.
	Businessman	Request: Security Code... Reward: Hot Sauce Unlock: After Chapter 6 A Ratooey businessman needs help with the security code for his briefcase. The hint for the code would be the number of chairs inside some of the houses.
	Mayor Dour	Request: Newsletter... Reward: 30 Coins Unlock: After Chapter 7 Deliver the Routing Slip for the Silver Club newsletter to the Puni Elder, Mayor Kroop, and Mayor Dour.
	Goldbob	Request: Delivery, Please! Reward: 64 Coins Unlock: After Chapter 7 Goldbob has a Package that needs to be delivered to General White. Loook for him around the map just like in Chapter 7.
	Gob	Request: I Can't Speak! Reward: 30 Coins Unlock: After Chapter 7 Meet Gob at Fahr Outpost near the snowman with a bucket on its head and give him a Honey Candy.
	Toadia	Request: I Wanna Meet Luigi! Reward: Choco Cake Unlock: After Chapter 7 Talk to Toadia at Poshley Heights while the L Emblem Badge is equipped.
	Doe T.	Request: Roust These Cads! Reward: 30 Coins Unlock: After Chapter 8 Meet Doe. T at Boggly Woods near the Great Tree and defeat the enemies that are blocking the way.
	Bub	Request: Help Me Make Up Reward: 3 Coins Unlock: After Chapter 8 Bub needs advice on what to give his mom. You have three options to choose from: a Shroom Cake, a Keel Mango, or a Fright Mask.
	Swob	Request: Erase That Graffiti! Reward: Snow Bunny Unlock: After Chapter 8 Swob asks for a favor that a graffiti needs to be taken down on the 50th floor of the Pit of 100 Trials.

Trouble Center Location

East Rogueport

The Trouble Center is located in the rightmost area of the east side of Rogueport. To get there, you need to pay Gus to pass through the arch or defeat him in battle to make him step away from the area.

Although you do not need to defeat him during the prologue, it is recommended to fight him before heading into Chapter 1, as this is the point in the game where you can start accepting requests. However, he becomes easier to defeat once you get Koops in your party, since Jump attacks do not work on him.

Trouble Center Overview

Complete Requests to Get Rewards

The Trouble Center lists optional quests on the bulletin board for Mario to do. These quests will net you rewards after completing them, but you may be tasked with revisiting places that you've already been through before.

Unlock Ms. Mowz

The game's only optional recruit, Ms. Mowz, can be unlocked only after completing the Elusive Badge! request in the Trouble Center.

Make Zess T. Cook with Two Ingredients

Zess T., who also resides in Rogueport, can cook items into new ones in her kitchen. She can expand her skills and mix two items after getting the Cookbook in the Seeking Legendary Book! request from the Trouble Center.

Progress Through Game to Get More Requests

You can start accepting a select few troubles to solve after completing the Prologue, but more will become available as you progress through the game and get Crystal Stars.

If you don't want to immediately play through the next chapter of the game, you can head back to Rogueport and visit the Trouble Center to do some quests.
