Chapter 5 | Chapter 6 | Chapter 7 | - |
Objectives | |
---|---|
1 | Bowser arrives in his iconic castle, only to be told to wait for the one who summoned him. While waiting, head right to the end of the hall. |
2 | He learns from Kammy that Mario is seeking the Crystal Stars, which he also wants now that he has heard about it. |
3 | Kammy will ask if Bowser likes fried eggs, in which you can either say you like them or you hate them. |
4 | Bowser and Kammy then learns that Peach was kidnapped in Rogueport. This makes Bowser mad, as for him, he should be the only one that ever abducts Peach. |
5 | Bowser rides on his Koopa Clown Car and sets off on his own journey. |
Chapter 1: Castle and Dragon Walkthrough
Objectives | |
---|---|
1 | Bowser and Kammy arrive in Petal Meadows, as they have heard that Peach was last seen in Petalburg. A mini game will then start which resembles regular Mario platforming levels, except you'll be playing as Bowser! |
2 | During the platforming section, Bowser can not only jump like Mario, but he can also use his fire breath attack to destroy obstacles. |
3 | Head right and try to break all the blocks in the level. Eating meat, which appear from yellow blocks, will also make Bowser bigger and even invincible at the maximum size, similar to when Mario gets a Super Star. |
4 | Reach the flagpole to complete the platforming section of this level. |
5 | Bowser and Kammy will arrive at Petalburg, only to discover that the Peach they heard about was only a poster from a diehard fan of the princess. |
Chapter 2: The Great Boggly Tree Walkthrough
Objectives | |
---|---|
1 | Bowser and Kammy arrive in The Great Tree, where they meet the Punies. |
2 | As Bowser, examine the bush with the purple bulb in front of the warp pipe. This contains the Puni elder, who will threaten Bowser. |
3 | Kammy and the Puni elder will start an argument. When prompted with a choice, you can choose either You're BOTH too old! HAR! or It's hag vs. hag! Awesome! These are only Bowser's thoughts, and no one will be able to hear your choice. |
4 | Bowser will then learn that Mario has already obtained the Crystal Star in the area. |
Chapter 3: Of Glitz and Glory Walkthrough
Objectives | |
---|---|
1 | Bowser and Kammy arrives at the station in Rogueport. Both wish to go to Glitzville, which is floating up above the sky. |
2 | Bowser flies off on his own in his Koopa Clown Car. His vehicle runs out of power and fails mid-flight, sending him crashing down to the bottom of the sea. A mini game will start which resembles water levels in regular Mario games. |
3 | Even underwater, Bowser can still use his fire breath attack while swimming. Like with the previous level, head towards the right, try to break all blocks, and get the meat to make Bowser stronger. |
4 | Reach the flagpole to complete the platforming section of this level. |
5 | Bowser will arrive back in Rogueport, where he will meet with Kammy who is seen to have been to the Glitz Pit. |
Chapter 4: For Pigs the Bell Tolls Walkthrough
Objectives | |
---|---|
1 | Bowser and Kammy arrive in Twilight Town. Kammy will suggest that they talk to the locals of the town. |
2 | Talk to Lord Crump who is in the middle of the area. Crump is looking for the bomb that the Shadow Sirens lost and mumbles something about Mario, which Bowser hears. |
3 | Bowser asks Crump about Mario and the Crystal Stars, but both just end up bickering. Crump summons a horde of X-Nauts, while Kammy calls upon their own Koopa forces. |
4 | Lord Crump then throws the Superbombomb towards Bowser, but this doesn't explode. Bowser tries to show his might and uses his fire breath, which detonates the bomb. |
Chapter 5: The Key to Pirates Walkthrough
Objectives | |
---|---|
1 | Bowser goes back to Rogueport, feeling defeated that he still doesn't have any Crystal Stars and cannot find Peach. |
2 | Kammy arrives to report that they have found an underground chamber and that they should check it out. A mini game will start which resembles Bowser Castle levels in regular Mario games. |
3 | Like with the previous levels, just head right to progress the section. Jump over the lava pits and avoid the fire bars. Try to break all the blocks and get the meat to make Bowser stronger. |
4 | Reach the flagpole to complete the platforming section of this level. |
5 | Bowser reaches the underground room, only to discover that it's Rawk Hawk's workout area. The two try to get the star from Rawk Hawk's belt, but they later find out that it was fake. |
Chapter 6: 3 Days of Excess Walkthrough
Objectives | |
---|---|
1 | Bowser and Kammy arrive in Poshley Sanctum. They force their way into the building even though the door is locked. |
2 | Inside, Bowser finds a Crystal Star and celebrates. |
3 | Pennington arrives in the scene and asks if Bowser is a common thief. When prompted, you can choose either A Remorseless King of Evil, The Shadow Thief, or Koopa Koot. |
4 | Pennington does not budge, and reveals that the Crystal Star Bowser is holding is fake. |
5 | A Paragoomba flies in and reports that Mario has collected all seven Crystal Stars and is making his way to the Thousand-Year Door. |
6 | Bowser then learns of the treasure behind the Thousand-Year Door, and makes his way towards the location. |
Chapter 7: Mario Shoots the Moon Walkthrough
In between Mario's journey to find all the Crystal Stars, you will be able to play as Bowser as he and Kammy try to find not only the captive Peach but also the Crystal Stars.
While going through these intermissions, you'll sometimes be treated with platforming levels that lets you play as Bowser himself. These sections resemble platforming gameplay that you can experience on traditional 2D Mario games.
During these sections, Bowser can jump and use his fire breath attack to knock out enemies and break blocks. He can also get meat from yellow blocks which makes him grow in size and even become temporarily invincible, as if he has used a Super Star.
Bowser will also have infinite lives, so you don't have to worry about getting a game over. However, he will still be damaged by enemies, obstacles, or when he falls down a pit.
Bowser's levels, along with Peach's, are not replayable and can only be played through once.
