Hit Golden Tree in Creepy Steeple

You can get Golden Leaves from the golden tree in Creepy Steeple.

To get there, head to the north courtyard and look for a gap within the fence. Use Mario's paper ability to turn sideways, then head right to see a withered golden tree. Use your hammer to whack the tree and a Golden Leaf will fall.

Exit Area to Get Another Golden Leaf

If you need more Golden Leaves, you can simply exit the Creepy Steeple, move to another location, then go back to the area and hit the tree again.
