Amuro Ray Review

Like many pilots for Bombardment-category mobile suits, Amuro Ray provides massive boosts to a unit's ranged capabilities and impressive accuracy bonuses. These buffs are always active, but with a caveat: you must maintain your mobile suit's HP at a level below 80% of its maximum.

While that sounds okay in many cases, it's a difficult sell for Bombardment units due to their susceptibility to being focused on by Raid-category mobile suits.

This also means that it's difficult to use him in certain PvE content, such as Phantom Ace, where maintaining your units' health is essential.
