Yuu Kajima Review

Yuu Kajima is a specialist pilot who boosts a mobile suit's melee capabilities, accuracy, and EX Gauge recovery. Many of his skills require quick EX Skill usage to create as many burst damage windows as possible. On the other hand, he also relies on destroying enemy units to ramp up a massive melee sense boost. This makes him an incredible pilot for Raid-category mobile suits in squad vs. squad PvE content, especially in stages where enemies spawn indefinitely, but not as effective in raid stages where accumulating damage against a single target is the goal.

As a bonus, most of his skill requirements allow him to be slotted to various mobile suits. The only exception would be his Limiter Override unit category skill requirement, which are only found in a few mobile suits such as the Blue Destiny Unit-1 and Pale Rider (Space Type).

The Blue Destiny Unit-1 is a mobile suit specialized in defeating Newtype Machine units. But, to balance its incredible damage against those units, as well as its powerful EX Skill and quick EX Gauge gain, it shreds its own defense as more enemies are destroyed.

Yuu Kajima indirectly solves this problem by allowing the Blue Destiny Unit-1 to gain more firepower as it loses defense, essentially turning it into a glass cannon by the middle to the end of the battle.
