Tower of Fantasy - All Overworld Puzzles (Exploration Points)
Earn Exploration points, as well as Gold and Black Nuclei, by solving puzzles in Tower of Fantasy. Read on to see each type of puzzle, how to solve them, a list of rewards, and other ways to earn Exploration points.

Dandelion

Tower of Fantasy - Dandelions
Dandelions can be hit with any weapon for its seeds to scatter. After scattering, hit the one with a black nucleus to get it.

Thornvines

Tower of Fantasy - Thornvines

Thorvines block supply pods from being opened. Burn them away using flame-elemental weapons. Players will be rewarded with a Black Nucleus once they can access the supply pod.

Chow Chow

Tower of Fantasy - Chow Chow

Chow Chow are the large blue flowers you can find in the overworld. You can usually find them near ice shell balls. Pick them up and throw them into the Chow Chow to recieve a Black Nucleus

Tar Pit

Tower of Fantasy - Tar Pit

Usually found beside rock walls, attack Tar Pits with a flame-elemental weapon to reveal the Black Nucleus behind it.

Bouncing Mushroom

Tower of Fantasy - Bouncing Mushrooms
Found near the coordinates (-596.3, 948.0), players can jump on these mushrooms. By jumping on all of them from shortest mushroom to tallest players are rewarded a Gold Nucleus.

If you're having a hard time distinguisihing the height, one way to the right order is when the mushrooms emit a faint blue light. The light will go out when u bounce on the wrong mushroom, so do this puzzle through trial and error.

Kerosenia

Tower of Fantasy - Kerosenia
Similar to a Tar Pit, players have to hit the Kerosnia with a flame-elemental attack. After hitting it, the Kerosenia will spit out a Black Nucleus.

Mushroom Man

Tower of Fantasy - Mushroom Man
Mushroom Man puzzles are straightforward enough. Players have to propel themselves up by jumping on the Mushroom Man. Hit the Black Nucleus to get it!

Training Facilities

Tower of Fantasy - Training Facilities
Training Facilities are sets of challenges found in the Overworld. Each facility challenges a different skill from speed to coordination. Completing them will award players with Training Points which they can exchange for upgrade items.

Singularity Rock

Tower of Fantasy - Singularity Rock
If you come across these statues, hit them with your Strange Cube relic to take the metal sphere off. Inside can either be a Black or Gold Nucleus.

Lava Pit

Tower of Fantasy - Lava Pit
Opposite to the Kerosenia, players need to hit the Lava pit with an ice weapon. Once it dissolves players will be rewarded with either a Black or Gold Nucleus.
What to Do When Lava Pits Aren't Working

Induction Plate

Tower of Fantasy - Induction Plate
All players have to do with this one is to hit it with the Omnium Cannon relic. Players will be rewarded with a nearby Gold Nucleus right after.

Thrust Module Co-Op Puzzle

Players have to push the module in their own direction to complete the puzzle. Each module is meant to have two or more players to complete it, but it can also be completed solo by pushing each module fast enough before it resets. Players will then be rewarded with a password chest.

Weight Module Co-Op Puzzle

Stand on the pressure plate in order for the shield to stop blocking the chest. In most cases, you will need two or more people standing on a pressure plate at the same time.

However, if there happens to be an Elemental Orb nearby, you can throw them onto the other pressure plate to fulfill the role of the other player. You can also try luring enemies onto the pressure plate.

You can also use the Hologram Projector Relic.

Smart Telescope

All players have to do is connect the blue dots to the orange ones to complete the constellation. Completing them will give players a Black Nucleus.

Ring of Echoes

Magicshrooms
In this puzzle, players have to jump on these elevated platforms in the sequence we show above. You can find this puzzle on Astra at the coordinates (-648.1, 815.7). Doing this properly will earn players a Gold Nucleus

Spliced Metal Boxes

Spliced metal boxes
Push the boxes in such a way that their top emblem forms a circle. Once you complete the puzzle, you will be rewarded with a Gold Nucleus.

Joint Destruction Module Co-Op Puzzle

Joint Destruction Co-Op Module
Four players must work together to destroy the robots at the same time. Doing so will give them access to the Password Chest.

Earthphyte

Eathphyte
To complete an Earthphyte puzzle, grab the node and lift it all the way to its plant. Place it there to receive a Gold Nucleus.

Concentration Ray

Concentration Ray
To solve the Concentration Ray, players have to turn on each one at different points of the area. Once the last ray has been turned on, players are rewarded at Gold Nucleus.

Force Induction Plate

Force Induction Plate
To solve the Force Induction Plate puzzle, players have to do a diving attack on the plate. A Black or Gold Nucleus can drop.

Flying Drone Puzzle

Tower of Fantasy - Drone Puzzle
To get the Nucleus, all players have to do is to hit it with a projectile weapon. Collect the Nucleus as it drops.

Sound-Tracing System

Follow the sound that starts playing after activating the Sound-Tracing System tower. If it gets softer, you're going the wrong way. If the sound gets louder, you're getting closer to the module. Return to the tower to insert the module each time you find one.

Inserting all the modules will reward you with a Gold Nucleus.

Attack Skills Co-op Challenge

This challenge requires three players to team up to use a slam attack at the same time. This can be accomplished with most weapons aside from guns or bows, and is easily performed by jumping and holding down the attack button.

Silvercrown Tree

Tower of Fantasy - Silvercrown
Players have to interact with any red flashing Silvercrown tree. Agree to use a magcore to get taken to the minigame.

Once there players will have to guide the magcore all the way to the bottom while avoiding lines. Players can keep repeating the minigame until they win. Completing the minigame will reward you with a Black Nucleus and Experience Points.

Iced Supply Pod

Players can access the Iced Supply Pod after hitting it with any fire elemental weapon three times.

Drop Pit

To solve this puzzle, players need to enter the pit with another character. This can be another player or done by luring an enemy.

Cactus Fruit

This puzzle requires players to attack the tree for the fruit to appear, and then attack the fruit to obtain the nucleus.

Surveillance Guard

Players will have to interrupt the Surveillance Guard by attacking it in order to obtain the Nucleus.

Sandy Rats Homecoming

For this puzzle, look for the burrowed Sandy Rat, which can usually be found by following the trail of plants. Once close enough, the Sandy Rat will follow you, and escort it back to the sand burrow in order to receive a Nucleus.

Exchanging Sandy Nests

To solve this puzzle, look for, and remember where the Special Sandy Rat stops after they switch places.

Cave Mushroom

Cave Mushrooms are the big blue mushrooms scattered across Vera. Look for the Purple Crystal nearby in order to gain a charge that you must return to the Cave mushroom.

After providing the mushroom with 3 to 5 charges, it will light up, and reward you with a Nucleus.

Elemental Supply Pod

In order to open the Elemental supply pods, you must first destroy the floating orbs nearby. Use an elemental weapon corresponding to the color of the orbs to destroy them.

The Friendly Little Critter (Friendly Sand Rabbit)

Friendly little critters(friendly sand rabbits) are small animals around vera with thought bubbles above them. Use an emote corresponding to their thought bubble in order to receive a Nucleus.

Ruin Stones

To solve this puzzle, align your camera in such a way that the two halves of the markings on the stones can be seen as one.

General Tips for Solving Puzzles

Nearby Puzzles Appear as Diamonds on the Map

Tower of Fantasy - Exploration Points
Puzzles and World Exploration activities can be found by heading to the diamond icons seen in the map. These icons will only appear when you're near them.

Keep a Flame-Element Weapon On-Hand

Since a lot of puzzles can be solved by hitting it with a flame attack, keep a flame-elemental weapon equipped to make farming easy.

Explore the Overworld

It seems that anything that can be moved or attacked has a purpose. By going near these puzzles you can actually trigger hints on how to solve them!

List of Possible Rewards

Black Nucleus

These mini-puzzles located around the open-world are some of the easiest ways to farm Black Nucleus. Try to solve them when you pass them by.

Gold Nucleus

Though much rarer, players who complete puzzles can also be rewarded with Gold Nucleus. So far, this has only been given through the Bouncing Mushroom puzzle.

Well till the game throws a three thrust variant at you and such

the Weight and Thrust ones can be done with 1 person. for the weight, you can find a nearby orb and drop it on the second plate or aggro an enemy onto it. for the thrust, if you are quick enough you can solo it. they may change this, so take this advice with a grain of salt
