Attack Safely from a Distance

The Terminator lets you attack enemies safely from a distance thanks to the gun's longer range, with its standard fire mode letting you move and shoot.

What makes The Terminator great as a range weapon is the Ice Shell debuff. With a fully charged attack, the weapon freezes the enemy for 2 seconds and also leaves it Frostbitten for 6 seconds.

This makes it a great weapon to use against enemies weak to Frost such as the World Boss Robarg

Gets Stronger with Advancement

The Terminator becomes one of the better SR weapons once you advance the weapon to 3 Stars, which increases the base damage of the weapon's regular attacks on top of improving the shatter damage when breaking Ice Shell.

Advancing to 3 Stars also improves The Terminator's ammo capacity by 80 which patches up the weapon's main weakness.

Turret Mode Leaves You Prone to Enemies

The Terminator's skill attack is Turret, which plants the weapon on the ground and lets you fire powerful energy orbs that can launch enemies in the air.

While turret mode makes you immune to hitstun and control effects, it also leaves you prone to getting attacked by multiple enemies or leaves you open to powerful attacks from World Bosses.

As a result, turret mode is best used when running with a team or other players who can take the aggro from enemies away from you.

Overwhelm Enemies with Fast Combos and Shieldbreak

The Terminator Turret skill makes a great weapon for team PvE battles to deplete boss HP's from afar. Dual EM Stars' Electro Field is also great for shielding and suspending enemies for aerial combos.

Meryl's Rosy Edge is there to provide shielbreaking against stronger enemies and world bosses. With both DPS weapons boasting a decent charge value, it's possible to use the Discharge skill Frost Barrier when switching to this weapon. Meryl's Rosy Edge can also create an Ice Shield to boost your defense.

PvE Advancement Priorities

Hilda 6 Star: The Terminator becomes more powerful the more it is advanced. At 3 Stars and 6 Stars, the weapon's regular attacks, shatter, and ammo capacity icreases.

Samir 1 Star: Upgrading Samir's Dual EM Stars to 1 Star grants an additional critical and damage increase. At 3 Stars, increase crit rate and electrical explosion duration.

Meryl 3 Star: Get Rosy Edge to 1 Star for a shatter boost. Her Ice Shield can be unlocked at 3 Star Advancement

Overpower Enemies with Frostbite and Ice Debuffs

Use The Terminator and Absolute Zero interchangeably as your opening weapons to deal ice damage as well as build charge for a Combination Attack.

Switch to Venus for its discharge attack that deploys her electrode healing. Both Absolute Zero and Venus will boost your survivability and grant an advantage in battle from their passive healing.

Ground Attacks

Normal Attack 【Hold Attack】 Tap normal attack to enter aiming mode. Hold normal attack to fire continuously, up to 40 rounds. Each shot deals damage equal to 11.4% of ATK + 7. Deal double damage when scoring a headshot or hitting an enemy's weak point, knocking them down (headshots are ineffective against Wanderers).

Dodge Attacks

Dodge Dodge right before getting hit to activate a Phantasia, which reduces the speed of enemies within the area. Cooldown: 15 seconds. While dodging, you gain hitstun immunity for 0.5 seconds.

Skill

Turret Enable turret mode and fire large energy orbs, each dealing damage equal to 213.3% of ATK + 133 and launching the target into the air. Become immune to hitstun and control effects while setting up the turret. 3.5-second cooldown.

Discharge

Arctic Beam When weapon charge is full or Phantasia is triggered, remove all debuffs from the wielder and fire an arctic beam upon switching to this weapon, dealing damage equal to 329.2% of ATK + 205 and inflict a 3-second freeze effect.Also reduce the target's frost resistance by 50% for 10 seconds.
