The Weapon Resonance feature grants special effects to players who equip specific types of weapons in their loadout. Learn the effect of each Weapon Resonance setup and what the best setup is for each playstyle.

Depending on the three Weapons in your loadout, the Weapon Resonance feature may activate, providing specific buffs to enhance your playstyle. Weapons are divided into DPS, Defense, and Support roles, and the buffs you gain will help depend on the roles of the weapons you equip.
Weapon Resonance | Requirement|Effect |
---|---|
Balance | 1+ weapon of each role () ・Damage dealt +5%, damage taken -5% ・Shatter and healing +20% ・Team Play only: Damage dealt +20% extra, damage taken -20% extra |
Fortitude | 2+ Defense weapons () ・Damage taken -25% ・Shatter +60% ・Aggro +800% ・Team Play only: Damage taken -20% extra |
Attack | 2+ DPS weapons () ・Damage dealt +10% ・Team Play only: Damage dealt +40% extra |
Benediction | 2+ Support weapons () ・Healing +100% ・Team Play only: Healing +100% extra |
The Role of a Weapon can be confirmed via the Weapons screen in-game, including Weapons which are currently locked. The icon on the left indicates the role, while the icon on the right indicates the Element of the Weapon.
When playing alone, the monsters aren't going anywhere until you kill them yourself, so the most important thing for players is to deal as much damage as possible. In most battles, you won't be at risk of losing enough health to require a defensive build, so boosting your DPS to blast through battles as quickly as possible will speed up your progress in the game as a whole.
When challenging difficult contents in multiplayer, each player will need to choose a role which benefits the team as a whole. Although DPS weapons are enough to get the job done for the basic story, high-level contents like Raids will require each player to have leveled up the weapons needed to suit a specific role.
